Same here. I’m 20 but i’ve been alone most of my life due to social anxiety. I’ve been alone for a while that I’m comfortable with it now, but sometimes i do wonder what it would be like if someone was by my side

I've been at a similar spot as you a few years ago. I always thought that a relationship was what I needed, that I needed someone to whom I would mean a lot. I was 22 when I met my now ex girlfriend. In the years before that I learned to be happy with myself, and to not rely on others for my happiness. Trust me, you're defending yourself from potential pain with a mindset like that. I was at a healthy spot to enter the relationship. However my ex girlfriend needed me to be happy, and I couldn't imagine how much weight that puts on you. This was what made us split apart in the end. You really need to find happiness within yourself before going into a relationship. When it comes to social media, you don't need it. There are many hobbies or activities you can participate in in most places. That's how you get to know people. Try new things, and you'll find people you can connect with quicker than you think!

I agree but I think it’s apart of leaving your comfort zone. You have to put out some energy to find the energy you want. If you have really close friends just think back to when you first met them. It all stemmed from simple conversations or actions that eventually branched out.

I think you should try doing hobbies that also allows you to meet new people For example if you are a animal lover you can volunteer for rescuing and taking care of animals in a shelter, wich allows you to meet others who also have same interest as you

Yea I felt that especially because I don’t do much outside, I’m more of an introvert and enjoy indoor activities so there’s not many opportunities to meet someone in person. And answering a dm is just so insincere it feels like lol

Hi, I was once in that same situation were I was basically doing nothing with my life with alot of self hate and a perpetual downward spiral. I had addictions and I was very gluttonous and bitter. That is when Jesus came into my life through a dream and showed me judgement day. Since then I surrendered my life over to God and though at the time it was out of fear, now after all he has done in my life, it has changed to love, knowing the many things God has done for me and how much he cares. He has helped me love myself more, given me purpose, helped me overcome addiction, and help me discover more about myself that I didn't even know, and this is only 2 years in!!! I would recommend giving Jesus a try, he loved and cared for you so much that he died for you. And he is always ready for you to accept him as your lord and savior. He cares so much for you that he even knows the number of hairs on your head and bottles every single one of your tears because that is how precious you are to him. One of the ways he helped me was by letting me know that I am never alone, that he is always there with me and will never leave me, he also helped me realize what we are as his creation, do you not know that every single human is made in the image of God, every single one fearfully and wonderfully made, that he knew your name even before the foundation of the earth, before you were born? If you are considering giving Jesus a try after my testimony, first you have to believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is lord, and that he has come to die for your sins, afterwards ask for the Holy spirit which he will bestow upon you freely. From here forth, you will now have a friend, guardian, parent, whatever you need, The Holy spirit could be that for you, that is why Gods name is "I Am" being a open title to anything you will ever need, trust me you will not regret it❤❤❤

He just gets better with time dawg, I've watched every video he has for the past month and I've grown so much as a person. If he doesn't have an answer for a specific question you have, I guarantee that he has something relating to your question in some way. It's all connected brother, all of these lessons tie into each other. Just find somewhere to start and you will eventually find your answer! That's a promise bro.
