"The exact repeat of the events from 13 years ago" sounds a lot like something Shu Takumi would write. I completely forgot that this remake existed, and it's just a month away?! It seems ridiculous that they just can't spare a dime to market this game, and then wonder why it sells so poorly. Please, *please* give it a try. If you've liked any of the games this channel has covered so far (besides for Pokemon), it will absolutely be up your alley.

Failed to market the DS version and it bombed. Now they fail to market the remaster, and I guarantee it bombs again. Bummer, too because Ghost Trick is one of the best hidden gems out there

The fact that this game is coming out on the same day as Master Detective Archives RainCode is genuinely crazy to me 😭😭😭 the 2 detective games i’ve EVER been this hyped for the get released come out on the same day?? I’m gonna struggle to see which one i’ll play first 😭

I remember downloading the iOS version of Ghost Trick YEAAARSSSSS ago when I was a wee little lad. I think it only had the first level or two you could play for free, and since I was a child that didn't have any money that's all I played of it, but I still remember it to this day, it just stuck with me. Can't wait to finally play the whole thing when the remaster comes out

YESSS! I literally have a copy of ghost trick on the ds but im still contemplating shelling out money on a switch JUST to get the game again(and a few others but that isn’t important) I’m desperately trying to convince my friends to get the game when it comes out but at this rate im gonna have to buy it FOR them cuz they just don’t know what they’re gonna miss out on! I love love LOVE this game and I’m praying so much for it to do well this time around!

They really haven't been advertising it. Thank you for the reminder. I just watched a lets play of it, so I doubt I will be grabbing it for myself. I am going to be buying this for my friends though.

This game was Peak Takumi for me. Still need to play a few other titles like Great Ace Attorney 1+2 but I'll be all in for this and sharing the word even more than before.

THANK YOU. i was so happy ghost trick got a second chance, it's such a masterpiece and i just hope it's not too late and people will actually play once it releases. it's SO worth it

I don't remember where but I know a youtuber (maybe you) quickly mentioned it as a great game in a video and I put it on my very long "to play" list. But i'm really craving puzzle game recently so this video come to remind me of it right in time ^^

NicoB ngl best way to market ghost trick I loved his playthrough and voices and the fact Capcom got him on the presentation says a lot lol. They should just use him as a marketing tool

Just played this game on the switch and loved it. I was hyped by other KZfaqrs reactions to it at the Direct! Got a physical copy from Play Asia. Never been into puzzle games before but this game peaked my interest. Any recommendations?

The Phoenix Wright games if you haven't played them already. AI: The Somnium Files is also a good mix of puzzle and story. If we're talking just puzzle games, Baba Is You is a great and (very) challenging game, and The Talos Principle is a favorite of mine.

@@ItsYourPalJacob Thanks, I've ordered the Phoenix Wright Trilogy. I like a game with a good story so will look into AI: Somnium Files. I'll look on KZfaq at your other 2 suggestions, but story was a big part of my enjoyment of Ghost Trick, it gave the puzzles a meaning.

I'm super weary of playing the port since my most beloved DS originals had abysmal ports (999 and twewy being the #1 examples) and i never got a chance to play the DS version of ghost trick. now that the game's out, would you recommend the port, or should i find a way to play on the DS first then get the port (so i still support the release, lol) thanks!

Just finished it the other day and yes it’s definitely worth getting! The DS controls transfer over very well to modern controllers and the script is near identical.
