SAG is goated. Managed to convinbce a couple friends to use it this wipe, great value for money and seems to come back in insurance more often than not.

Goldenstar is insane, should be buffed in Tarkov for more realism.

the BS ammo is also much easier to find on reserve but on reserve 5.45 is literally everywhere

PP19 Stereotype: You mod the gun purely for asthetics and end up making it 150k. or you run it stock in the first week of wipe. You also often complain about 9x19 being awful but keep using it anyway

It's a classic medium range weapon, so it's my jam. The in-close downsides are the punishment for not finishing off opponents before they get inside your preferred engagement range. I just wish the ammo worked better at 100+ meters.

just here to say that I have played Tarkov (all be it not much, like 30h) and quit it because it was too much for me I guess and every time I come in its late wipe so its just me and the sweats but even though all this I still watch your videos because of how entertaining they are. so keep up the good work.

Heh, I’m not surprised. BSG likes to buff whatever is Russian. The semi auto AK is no exception. Heck, Nikita may even have one considering it’s likely what is a little “higher tier” that’s available to them on the consumer market. So they’d buff it to have an almost 6kg gun to still have 100 ergo even further that the AK platform isn’t particularly considered ergonomic as compared to more modern rifles. It gets even more astounding that you’d have a big blocky waffle suppressor and a 60rd while it’d have like 70 ergo which beats the ergo levels of other properly and realistically modded SBRs or even SMGs

Guys just a quick tip, slap a canted sight ( I use Burris FF3 ) on this thing and ADS its literally INSTANT. Like literally. I tried only clicking RMB and just by doing that, I can see my red dot in 0.01secs on my target.

One of my favorite early/mid wipe guns. I usually run it with the Elcan.

SAG is one of several gun that becoming my favorite for daily farm, (beside AK74U, ADAR, and VEPR Hunter), because that ergonomic and its very often get the return from the insurance.

Golden star (irl) is basically like vicks vapo rub on steroids. If you ever have a sinus infection where on of your nostrils feels clogged like a hair-ridden drain, golden star is the answer... (that or wasabi)

Do an extreme species video talking about extremely low ergo/recoil,extremely long/short shotguns, extremely high/low capacity mags ect

I knew this gun was underrated, its my go-to Woods gun! Its helped me survive many raids so far

I've pulled so many clean one taps with this thing and an Elcan. Love the gun.

For me it's either VPO, Vepr or straight to AK-74M.

I love this gun grate ergo and awesome recoil but the damage is a bit of a pain but headshots (I'm not the best at hiping heads myself) make that a doddle

I'd recommend the SAG for BEAR players. For USEC, the best is just to make a hyper customized M4 or SA-58 for close engagements.

I run this with a razor scope, waffle and 2 mags, one with bs for pmcs other with bt for scavs, has worked like a charm from early wipe. soooo satisfying to run

great video, while i can agree the gun is solid, for the current going rate at the moment, you can buy, and mod, an rpk to have near identical stats to the short version(with free muzzle break) while retaining full auto, while I cant speak for the trader price, on the flea its still a little too pricy at the moment to be a viable pick.

My biggest issue with the SAG is that its 5.45. Its okay at range if you're headcracked (I am not) but otherwise the damage is just sooo laughably low for any good rounds that its a struggle to kill anything up close.

Tbh for me the best gun is the ump, it is insanely op most people are deluded and go “bad rate of fire, poo poo ammo” clearly they haven’t aimed for the legs it is a 6 shot kill no recoil. The VAL and VAS are the only guns you can still buy the best in slot ammo for

To counter your shock at hunters using armor piercing ammo to hunt with. I live in SC, the cheapest and most common 5.56 round out here in the Green Tip M855 standard issue Armor Piercing ammo. It's so abundant; that at any time i say i have ran out of ammo to shoot at paper targets at the range. Someone would donate a brick of it just so we can all shoot together. Now for its use; Boar, simple as that. They are very tough to take down with a 5.56 unless you aim for the neck and end up with a runner 65% of the time. So the M855 round (Lets face it, it might say "Armor piercing" but it's honestly just designed to go through a small mild steel plate). Has plenty of penetration with reliable fragmentation to drop Boar on the spot. Boar and Crocodiles. Are there better options? Of course, but when you only have an AR-15 to protect your seasonal crop. M855 still has its place in the world.

i dunno, for me this falls into the same category as the tx-15 where you pay more money for a downgrade. a 74 with a buttpad, the meh muzzle device, a decent handguard and a rvg is going to have really good full auto controllability, great ergo (because it’s actually king of hard to make a 74 with bad ergo) and it’s way cheaper

7:23 I spent the wipe before last constantly crafting both smg ap rounds and my god was it a pain, last wipe I started using aks and my god it was so much better, I could go into a raid not caring about the 10 hours it took for me to craft the stack of ammo that's in my mags, mostly because I knew that if I ran out of ammo one scav raid to interchange and I could just barter for the ammo I needed. The only time I will return to smgs is if I want to melt someone's legs or bully some timmy in the bunker.

I'll try this out i usually run 5.45 on my AK74N as a budget gun and while it's gonna hurt not being able to magdump on auto up close thatrecoil and ergo does look really nice to shoot with.

MP7: You have now sweated to SUCH a degree, that your body can now move 25% faster than most other PMCs and make less noise much like the subsonic rounds your MP7 is armed with, your speed is unaffected by armor or loot in your Raid backpack, good luck killing them cause they're usually high-level chads that have at least 1000 hours of JUST PVP

I think the SMG user should involve a slow descent into madness after early game due to lack of accessible ammo. They degenerate physically and mentally until they go from headshot enthusiasts to... Leg Munchers. Then at late game they loop back around to headshot enthusiasts after they're saved by Jesus "P90" Christ or they continue their depravity until they're 9MM or .45 vector rip abusers. Variants include the MCX users. As, while not technically SMGs, really want to be SMGs. They're like Hyenas pretending to be dogs but are actually closer related to cats.

Sadly, the overabundance of 5.45 is why most people run it. There's no reason to go find/craft 7.62 BP, M855A1, 9x19 PBP, .45AP, etc. because apparently they don't make boxes in this world that hold this kind of ammo. Idk if it's a huge oversight by BSG or they're just dumb, but we shouldn't find THIS much BT/BS per raid. Even 5.45 BP/PP! I know Tarkov is based in Russia, but I don't want to scavenge different calibers round by round from raiders and rogues.

I don't use this much in raid, I need my full auto mag dumps to make up for me being a shit player and bad shot, butI like using this gun for my offline factory practice verse scavs. Forces me to shoot single shot, aim for heads, and lets me snap around due to the ergo. I'm forcing myself to get better at single shots so this may be the gun for me.... after I burn through my stash half-full of guns....
