I'm North African and in my culture we talk a lot about people's energy, spirituality, that we are drawn to certain people because their beautiful inside radiates and has so much positive energy that they act literally like magnets on people's souls. You know when sometimes you speak to someone at a bus stop or in a shop and you're like "dam she could be the coolest friend I bet our convos would be crazy and amazing"... You are THAT person. I stumbled on your videos because I was researching Linda hallberg's powder so I can make people believe that my pores are not mini volcanos lol.. And I ended up watching 10 videos in a row. You have such a pure, genuine,vulnerable, simply kind and soothing energy that I can say without knowing you that you I can trust you. Your strong morals clearly show and it warms my heart that there are still people like you around our age in this shallow world where individuality and selfishness became the norm. Know that you are as beautiful on the inside that you are on the outside, please never doubt yourself. Be kinder towards yourself, I feel like you are too hard on you and have such high expectations , demanding too much from your poor body and soul. You are more than enough simply being you, so stop pressuring yourself... On another important topic, That falling into the toilets thing thooo lmao I almost choked on my gum . My biggest fear are airplane toilets, the person who designed those torture devices needs to go to jaiiiil giving me anxiety just thinking about them. I will repeat to you that you are a badass super hero on all your videos until you believe me, please don't get a restraining order against me 😂

Mel Thompson You are welcome sweetheart. I feel like as humans we SHOULD compliment each other , especially women , lean on one another . Life is hard enough as is, compliments are so easy to make yet they do so much for people’s souls and really can impact someone’s life and perception of themselves . I want to put some love back into this world as corny as I sound lol . I see so much mental misery in my work , I just want to love on my fellow humans . I feel like you don’t have as much confidence in your self as you should and I have zero myself so I know how it feels . I know also that when someone thinks I’m pretty or I smell good (I’m a perfume hoe 😂) it makes me smile and feel better , so I’m just sayin’ .. I’ll repeat it until you believe meeee lol hugs mama you are the ISH so you can humbly feel yourself a lil’ more ;)

Always presenting on your channel, as a professional makeup artist, which you are. I totally feel you and got kinda sad when you said "most of my problems in friendship have been that i am the better friend." I got into this situation over and over again and for some reason can't learn not to give people all of myself in each relationship. Theres only been ONE girl who has stood for me the way I stood for her and she's my best friend because of that :) but sadly the circle is small!

The last person I trusted to that level broke it with my partner of twelve years and father of my child. Necessity probably has encouraged reconciliation in the latter relationship but the prior ended directly after. I miss feeling trust for people the way I used to. You're so lucky to have that one friend who mutually has your back! Cherish it

Aww when you were talking about being a strict mommy I actually got teary eyed because you are such a wonderful mom , there is not very parents out there that will take the time and energy to stay consistent and provide a predictable home life that allows children to feel safe and loved 😊 great job 💜and I have much love and respect for you and it was so awesome watching and learning more about you . I watch all your videos so I feel like I’ve known you forever lol . I struggle with a painful debilitating rare disease and have many days unable to move and I enjoy watching your videos 💜💜

I swear you and I are the same person. Your answers to nearly all of the assumptions are the same as what I would answer. We appear ‘strong’ but are truly aware of our weaknesses and anxiety. I have found that my ritual with makeup is what helps me ‘meditate’ and give my brain a break from my thoughts. I am a tomboy that likes to be a princess too 🤣🤣

I feel the same way you do about makeup...it can make you feel better!!! It's something you can control!!! And KZfaq is another thing that even tho anyone can watch it...it felt like it was mine....no one else in my family is into makeup the way I am...they really could care less😂...but I'm glad about that because I needed something for ME...and this is IT and I LOVE it!!!!😊✌

You sound like a great mom, Mel! I knew you would be. We need more parents like you in the world! I grew up in a very strict (very) household, but my parents also balanced out the expectations with praise and rewards (often non-tangible). And, I never went a day without both of my parents telling me they loved me, and I knew they meant it. So even with strict parents, I turned out pretty great (if I may say so myself) Great video & very interesting - and funny! 💕

I totally understand anxiety and never wanting to appear as if something were wrong or and I too do not like asking for help!! I would rather appear strong; yet I’m deep down really sensitive!!

I find it so interesting the permission viewers give themselves to lecture, provide counsel for, or to simply violate a person's privacy with the expectations that you should reveal all your personal information, and must respond to inquiring minds. I love your videos and your tutorials. I am an earring and eyeshadow person, as you are. You are a very beautiful person, inside and out.Thanks for having the guts to share more of yourself with us. It takes guts to be vulnerable and put yourself out there. It also shows that most of us are more alike, than we are different, and that insight is the only way to heal the world. You have a lovely face, especially your eyes and eyelashes. I am older and have finally learned how to do my makeup properly, thanks to you and other U tubers. I have hooded eyes, all my life, and mostly use matte eyeshadows except for eyelid, inner corner and under eye liner. I really appreciate your honest reviews, so, please don’t change that, no matter how big you get. Please do some more Viseart reviews. Viseart and the Kat Von D Shade and Light are my favorites. So glad Viseart is coming out with singles!!! Not that I need any replacements, yet, but nice to know that they are available.

Since you put yourself out there, I will give you a random fact about myself, I CANT stand the feeling after my hands have been wet, you know that soft dry feeling, it gives me chills running down my back even thinking about it, so the 1st thing I do out of the shower, or washing my kids hair or anything else that gets my hands wet, afterwards I have to IMMEDIATELY apply lotion or hand cream or balm, the greasier the better... Im with you on alot of things too, I also have 4 kids and an amazing husband, I have almost no friends, but I wish I had at least one like you... I also dont go for drugstore makeup, and love Target for kids clothes, and the occasional sweatshirt for me. I will wear random brands of tops but not jeans, I only like higher end brands of jeans like Silver Jeans, Big Star, etc... Im a home body, dont drink at all, and am alone alot as my husband is a truck driver.. oh and Im an aries.... LOVE your videos, and watching them is like chatting with a good friend. xx

I eat one thing at a time too and my food can NEVER touch. Yes - I know it’s going to the same place, but it doesn’t have to go there together!!! I have sensory issues too and I don’t like certain textures mixing. Like if a piece of corn gets in my mashed potatoes - I get angry! If I know it’s there, I’ll isolate the offending item and move it to the side of my plate so it can sit there and think about what it’s done. Lol.

I’m from Cherokee North Carolina and lived in Gatlinburg and Knoxville and I miss the mountains, rivers and lakes ever so much. Stuck in Dallas and though it’s lovely it’s not my cup of tea honey and I can’t wait to get back home. I completely agree with how you raise your kids I’m the same. I want my daughter to know things in life must be worked for nothing ever comes easy and one shouldn’t expect a hand out or things to fall into place without hard work, drive and determination. I always want her to realize how fortunate we are and every holiday birthday she goes through her valuables and donates to local charities.

I grew up in a similar situation that you described and I have two boys who I let them decide what they wanted to do with their own hair at the age of ten years old. I’m still very strict but I believe that they have the right to express themselves. As Always Much Love toYou 😘💋😍❤️❤️❤️

On the Meyers-Briggs scale, I am an INFJ so I totally understand the shyness around certain crowds/people. I love this. I had NO idea you were so tall. WOOOO! And YEEEES about bonfires/camp fires! I am allergic too and don't enjoy them. And SHOUT OUT to us strict (but loving) Mamas!!!

Omg, I'm so glad I came across your channel! I just subscribed yesterday and have loved everything so far! I'm not from TN, but my fiance is, and we also met on an online dating site (and I'm a fellow tall girl at 5' 10"!). Seeing how young and refreshed you look being in your 30s and having four kids gives me hope! I'm 35 and hope I can reverse the clock a little bit and look as young as you do! Love your genuine personality! I know I'm late to the party, but I hope you get to see this.

I can’t tell you how thrilled I was when you were talking about your kids manors and them saying yes mam, please & thank you! Well behaved children no manor how old are appreciated! Thank you! It’s hard work. I am way older than you but I also love makeup and I apply it everyday.. I do always wear sunscreen no matter if I am inside or outside. I love your honesty about products and we can tell when you really love something or it isn’t going to make the love list. I love the Eye looks you do. As I am aging I still have good eyes. I have purchased the lash serum and I do believe they are getting thicker! I was using a different brand but I think I like this one better. I just recently found your channel from Wayne Goss and have binge watching your videos all morning. I rarely comment but i just had to say, I have been enjoying your channel and find you so relatable. That could be because you are aLeo and say “Wuter” and not Wahter” 😂 (I’m also a Leo and from Baltimore, I say “wuter”). And I won’t even hold it against you that you’re a Steelers fan 😉But seriously, you are beautiful and talented and seem really humble and down to earth. It’s nice to see that here on YT as much of the beauty community has become so out of touch with reality from the “everyday” person.

I know exactly what you mean about the friend thing! Ive always given more than I got. After a while you just can't keep giving and giving and getting nothing in return. It's hard to be the one who cares more about the other than they do about you 😥. Also the mom thing. We try our absolute best but there is no such thing as the perfect mom. I think its important to admit our flaws and mistakes and try to improve them as we go 😘❤️

Girl yes on allowing your kids to express themselves in a certain extent we have so much in common. I was raised southern rolling holy Baptist on one side and Cherokee/Wiccan on the other so that made for an interesting upbringing I still to this day can hardly wear red due to the Jezbel stigma brainwashed into my tiny child brain so young. I got imanacipated at 15 which was a struggle at times but allowed me to educate myself and find who I wanted and needed to be outside the ideology I was brainwashed to be. I think sometimes I may over instill self expression to my daughter because I truly want her to be who she wants to be and is always and to know she will be loved no matter who she grows up to be

Hey there, re: Hakuhodo, the Basic, G, and J series brushes are at about the same price point as old MAC and current Wayne Goss brushes. They use the same uncut, undyed bristle materials as their fancy lacquer handled brushes, just with simple enamel painted wooden handles instead. Hope this helps!

I loved this video. We c'xxxccc have a lot in common! Anxiety and PTSD, being quiet in groups I don't know. But because of my PTSD in a group I am more checking people out. Because of some stuff in my childhood my father made me a good reader of people. I had to thank him for that and let it and him go. Very freeing. You are beautiful and have a wonderful personality. I have friend who is sooo handsome, looks, moves and can dress like a model but he doesn't believe that he is beautiful. I wish people could see themselves through the eyes if others. Sorry...didn't mean for this to be a therapy session but I really needed to say that. Aiyanna
