My clutch setup makes my car (The In-Cressible-HULK) almost non-street-able. Great for power, bad for street driving. Not to mention, EVERYTHING is solid - there is no rubber bushings anywhere!

The absolute best thing about this video is how calm he remained. He never lost composure because he knew he'd figure it out.

One of my worst fears! Driving a friends car, stuck in traffic up a hill, with the car behind in close! AHHHH!

If I was on a hill with a racing clutch I'd just gun it XD

When in doubt, just rev the shit out of the engine and hold the clutch till it gets into gear loooool

Damn I'm still learning my stage 2 clutch and I thought I had it rough lol.... Cool video

hahaha... It's a lot better now on street tires as they have less traction and provides a little bit of give when the clutch engages. Makes taking off easier, but no traction! :)

Multi plates are even more aggressive again but still definitely doable. Just avoid a 4 plate unless its absolutely necessary

I just learned how to be good at driving my stick shift little Toyota pickup, how come your clutch is so much harder? And what's the secret to get it going? Clutch in, let clutch out slowly into 1st geer??
@toomaful5 жыл бұрын
late answer, but i think hes using a 6 pad/puck (sintered) clutch, which u cant let out slowly, it is fully engaged or not, there is no in between :D
@KickRox7105 жыл бұрын
Yeah even later comment, race clutches were designed strictly for well racing and they aren't meant for the daily driving. Basically what I learned from them is that it's either fully engaged or fully disengaged. Honestly I would love to meet is crazy person who would daily a stage 4-5 clutch

Sir.Sandwich S a friend of my friend dailyed a 6 puck clutch on his Passat, one time he was in front of us at the McDrive, it seemed like he wanted to do a burnout every time he gone forward 😂 but he shortly got back to a kevlar clutch, so personally i wouldnt use a race clutch 😬
@KickRox7105 жыл бұрын
@@toomaful that hilarious 😂, I'm looking at some stage 2 spec+ kevlar clutches but Jesus, the poor guy who had to daily that passat must have really hated it
@toomaful5 жыл бұрын
Sir.Sandwich S i'm gonna run a kevlar one too, just want to wear down current clutch, since previous owner replaced it, its almost brand new 🤷🏻♂️

What stage clutch is this ?
@Miguelsgarage3 жыл бұрын
The clutch itself is probably considered a Stage 5 or 6, but if you include the entire setup with the flywheel being custom made, probably a Stage 7 or 8.

is it just on and off? no middle?wheres the bitibg point
@Miguelsgarage9 ай бұрын
It’s pretty much on and off… very little room in the middle… also the tuning was too sharp and lean. We had to enrich the fuel mixture to make it easier. And then I went with street tires to make it more driveable

I've only driven 2 cars with a "race clutch" and both were horrible , a 240 and a CRZ , I couldn't pull away from a stop sign below 4K with the Honda
