If you are a fan of Patrick Evans you are in the middle of watching his break out year as a freerider. After showing out at some whip comps and demo's, he was invited to X Games and given a chance at Quarter Pipe and followed it up with a spectacular performance at Red Bull Imagination that showed he really was one of the guys. Fast forward to 2024 Pat signed a deal with Stark Future and continued to take over the internet with his insane whips. We caught up as the who Freeride and FMX world is getting ready for X Games and Pat is in with a real shot at gold.

Dude they have been doing it. 2 strokes only too…in Huntington Beach. It’s during the offseason before SX starts. EDIT: I did a little research and Vital forums are saying they aren’t hosting it again until the SMX schedule thins out? As if that’s ever gonna happen lol. If that’s true then Gypsy Tales and Swapmoto Live and whoever should host it themselves. Non-factory/privateer guys don’t need permission to go as long as it is in the SMX offseason. Especially considering how well Redbull riders do in the event recently, Roczen, Carson Brown, Musquin…

@@jpesicka999 they haven't had it since the Huntington beach which was a couple years ago.Screw the SMX crap. I'd rather see RBSR and the Monster cup

hey hes young and has obviously got enough common sense to learn from his mistakes, that wreck was brutal, something like that happens its either gonna humble you or destroy you (theres a very thin line between the two) Patrick seems like a pretty genuine dude, and i hope he keeps killing it.

Definitely and he’s right about the kid having to learn for himself. It really is rare for someone to take advice at face value. Most of us gotta learn the hard way, but that’s life! Just never give up!
