They talk about no contact to the head, but every single tackle in the nrl has the ball runner getting his head pushed and elbowed into the turf. Why is there no penalties there? it's just a constant grubby thing that's allowed and I don't really get it.. no contact to the head means no contact to the head.

Kenty usually goes off full cocked the wrong way, but that elbow was dangerous, if protecting the head is the goal, then it has to go both ways, tackler or tacklee

You tackle whoever runs at you size doesn't matter it's their job, are you really that stupid? I mean the lad is playing first grade despite him being a "runt". It's not easy for the big fellas to tackle and run at defensive line so imagine doing that at half the size, but they still do. If you ever had the bollocks to step foot on a rugby league pitch you would know this and have more respect especially for the little ones because they have to stand in line and compete against the same 100kg+ blokes as the forwards. He would smash you around the park for fun despite being a "runt" You're thicker than a pig in s**t mate

That was a good lesson for Walker. Either he has to put on some more muscles if he wants to use that tackling technique or get lower and chop those backrowers in half. All backrowers got a little bit of grub for playmakers it's part of the game, the great playmakers find a way to overcome this.

He is a grub. Bumpers up, whatever. But to then using momentum jam your elbow into someones head/face, that is grubby. I reckon this is worse than the Barnett elbow earlier this year. Barnett was running sideways and the opposite player runs into his elbow. But Kaufusi had intent to jam his elbow into someones head.

@@thesage4729 If you are referring to me I think you may be mistaken. If you can't tell the difference between someone raising their arms up as they run, and someone, who as they land on the ground purposefully jams their elbow forward into someones head with intent, that is on you. I get its a rough game and the elbows while running isn't great especially when it cops someone in the throat or head, but this one is worse, and we have seen him do it a few times before.

As an amateur even I had body awareness of what my body in relation to the attacker or defending player was doing. 100% Kaufusi knew what he was doing. He did a similar thing against the Warriors last year. It happens a lot during games, but him and Tariq Sims are especially dangerous. Last year or 2020 Tariq drove his shoulder into the debuton halfback's head and drove him into the ground. The kid went off and Tariq was made a hero of because he went up to the kid to see if he was alright after the game. I think it was a Rooster.?

Offloads are preventing this small guys from standing up and tackling, hence they go in first contact head first to slow the big guys down. To fix this. Remove offloads. This will alter the game and NRL will die out soon..if you want to protect players or human beings in general. Do not entertain such sports. Just stop Rugby!!
