@@PassportBrosBusinessClass For the second point, maybe she did some research on old earth weaponry somewhere in her life. Maybe she played some 21st-century based holodeck programs and picked it up in a combat scenario. There are plenty of ways, and she is quite a combat-capable character. I doubt Captain Rios would've been able to do it in quite the same manner.

See, the books have touched more on this, but that’s not true. They download more then just tactics and technology. For example, after they assimilated all those romulans at the beginning of the series, they got much better at lying. It was also the assimilation in this galaxy that led them to conclude that a single assimilated representative of a race was the getter way to approach creatures in this quadrant, leading to Locutus. They find the brute force method more efficient but that’s not all they have. Even that is refined. Their hacking methods are made from people like the Queens new target here. Consider what the borg were at the start of TNG vs what they were in Voyager, let alone Picard . They gained time travel, started building things in extra dimensional space, things others did not have! They weren’t just copying, they were improving. You think they don’t have creativity? They got plenty! A good chunk of it from us.

The Borg have deficiencies in the rise to perfection. Well they assimilate new beings and technology they lose the vital spark that creates innovation and progress. Even the Borg want to improve and create new things for perfection. Agnius just proved to the Queen exactly why the Borg require creativity. She literally stole from the Borg during the entire assimilation progress right under the queens nose. For the Borg Queen to be impressed shows that here is living proof of the creativity of humans and the ingenuity and sheer recklessness they manage to pull off a victory and say it to her face. There is a cost. The Borg lost individuality and creative thought in the desire for perfection. They want creative thought again but doing so might cost them something. That cost might be inclusion of individuality, and the queen has been a individual for some time now

Don't forget that Hugh existed in TNG and he was reintroduced to individualism

Perhaps she is already. Maybe that was Agnes from episode 1 with the borg tentacles

They do have great interactions honestly. Until now in this season, Agnes seemed quite confused, disoriented and scared. Pulling off that kind of thing and being able to not just gloat about it but earn the respect of the Borg Queen is such a character boost. I may actually enjoy her this season. I do also love how the Queen isn't as "helpless" as it was kinda shown in Voyager. She has the strength of a drone while still the mental capacity of a Queen. Its a nice thing to see that wasn't explored before and was kind of expected at least in my viewing experience

She will look you in the eye and read you so hard you’re like “damn buy me a drink first.” And Agnes is a train wreck but also she knows what she’s good at and it was great to see her pull that off after the Queen just called her a “fragile little teacup.” 😆

Reminds me of the non cannon book ..where female Q converse with the Borg queen... and tell hers the Q don't fear the borg as they are insignificant compared to them.. The Borg Q fires back" for now, but even as we speak we are scanning you , probing you, studying how you convert matter and energy, and although it may take eons the Q will one day be assimilated too".. what made that a great scene in the book" was the narration that if the Q could feel fear , if only for a nano second the Female Q experienced it.

If anywhere in future the Q would be assimilated.. then the borg would become atemporal as well, that means the borg woudl NOW and in the past already be omnipotent as well. The fact that she was Not omnipontent was proof that this future would never happen.

There is always a bigger fish. Also overconfidence is the Borg undoing more than once, as well as other species undoing, because they underestimated them.
