Right?! Why have a pbs and npr either. There are many agencies created for specific purposes by Congress who should have been defunded or restructured by now. DHS is not protecting our homeland. DHHS agencies are not obeying our laws, they just go off shore to China and Ukraine to do what is unlawful to do hideous and corrupt activities. The agencies also send mass amounts of our tax dollars to foreign countries in the form of grants for ‘studies’, programs, and in some cases medicine etc. My question is why do we send money to the UN and WHO as well?

She allowed someone who lied about their experience, lied that they had a qualifying degree to take the position that directs how VOC communicates via the staff under her, a position of authority she had no business holding. This gal never bothered to check the liar's proof for degree, research, publication, experience. Amanda won't answer his question as to why she didn't check. For her lack of answers, and until she answers enough that the record can be corrected in the future, it is now in the public record about her failure to oversee VOC properly. It took a whistleblower to alert Issa that anti-American and subjective political bias was going out on the airwaves contary to the VOC mission and mandate. Additionally, as he said, people all over the world make decisions on what VOC broadcasts. And I wonder who appointed this Amanda and burdened the agency going forward. The overreach of bureaucrats in federal agencies is such that the Chevron decision makes sense. Congress can revamp allowing for experts to inform them without tying legislators hands to censor and discipline bad actors. Citizens should not be punished because ideological convictions of agency leaders dismiss being public servants, and lacking respect, common sense, well run data or enforcing what Congress allows.

So a person who was fired for lying on a resume and for mishandling taxpayer dollars .. was rehired to be the acting associate editor of news standards and practices? That is not an HR problem. That is pure corruption of whomever was involved in rehiring the person into such a position. It was done despite the lies and despite the known issues. And that can only have been done if someone with extreme pull within the agency did so. Add in how this joke of a CEO also directed staff to avoid referring to Hamas as Terrorists, and all I see is an agency being run in an Orwellian manner to put forth a twisted view of the world to support the Biden lies.
