So you've started your first new city Cities Skylines, what do you do now?
In this easy-to-follow beginners guide, I'll show you the BEST way to start a brand new city 100% vanilla. In this episode we will talk about the importance of GOOD CITY PLANNING from proper Road Hierarchy to where to place zones and city services such as Deathcare, Education and Healthcare as well as bring in our first public transit lines. Through proper planning practices and a good layout, a city will have a much better traffic flow, grow faster and make more money.
If you're an ABSOLUTE BEGINNER, we will go over the basics of the game, from the starting road layout to zoning, services and how to make money in Cities Skylines. We will go over the next few milestones and what to do when you unlock each one.
This tutorial applies to both PC and console players, but I am playing on a PC so some things may be different if you're on PS4, Xbox, Switch, etc. I have a few visual mods installed to make the game look more visually appealing, but the gameplay itself is 100% vanilla base game.
