This is a clip from the full sermon Worship the son of God-Voddie Baucham_KZfaq kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mc9ge5Slzay0ZKc.html THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST PAUL DAVID WASHER The Character of God The Holiness of God Your eyes are too pure to approve evil, and You cannot look on wickedness with favor. Habakkuk 1:13 But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear. Isaiah 59:2 The Justice of God For the LORD is righteous, He loves righteousness; the upright will behold His face. Psalm 11:7 But the LORD of hosts will be exalted in judgment, and the holy God will show Himself holy in righteousness. Isaiah 5:16 God is a righteous judge, and a God who has indignation every day. If a man does not repent, He will sharpen His sword; He has bent His bow and made it ready. Psalm 7:11-12 The Depravity & Condemnation of Man For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23 For all of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment Isaiah 64:6 For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse; for it is written, ACCURSED IS EVERYONE WHO DOES NOT ABIDE BY ALL THINGS WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF THE LAW, TO PERFORM THEM. Galatians 3:10 The Great Dilemma He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous, both of them alike are an abomination to the LORD. Proverbs 17:15 Far be it from You to do such a thing, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous and the wicked are treated alike. Far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth deal justly? Genesis 18:25 God’s Action While maintaining His holiness and justice, the Bible also affirms that God is love, and that in love He has responded to the plight of man. Motivated by Love God is love. By this the love of God is manifested in us, that God sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 1 John 4:8-10 The Cross of Christ For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed; for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. Romans 3:23-26 The Resurrection He who was delivered over because of our transgressions, and was raised because of our justification. Romans 4:25 Man’s Response Repentance begins with a recognition and confession that what God says about us is true that we have sinned. For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me. Against You, You only, I have sinned and done what is evil in Your sight, so that You are justified when You speak and blameless when You judge. Psalm 51:3-4 A genuine recognition of our sinfulness and guilt will also lead to genuine sorrow, shame and even hatred for what we have done. For what I am doing, I do not understand; for I am not practicing what I would like to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate. Romans 7:15 Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from this body of death? Romans 7:24 Apparent sincerity of confession alone is never definite evidence of genuine repentance. It must be accompanied by a turning away from sin. Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your deeds from My sight. Cease to do evil. Isaiah 1:16 therefore every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Matthew 3:10 Faith Defined Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform. Romans 4:21 Faith Based on The Promises of God For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16 Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved Acts 16:31 Example of a Believer worship in the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh Philippians 3:3 The Basis of Genuine Assurance True conversion: A true Christian is a new creation and will live a life that reflects God’s radical work of re-creation in his/her life. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. 2 Corinthians 5:17 You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? Matthew 7:16 Assurance is based upon self-examination in the light of Scripture. Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you unless indeed you fail the test? 2 Corinthians 13:5 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. 1 John 5:13 Test of Biblical Assurance 1 John 1:5-7 (Walking in the Light), 1 John 1:8-10 (Confession of Sin), 1 John 2:3-4 (Obedience), 1 John 2:9-11 (Love for the Brethren), 1 John 2:15-17 (Hatred for the World), 1 John 2:24-25 (Perseverance in Doctrine), 1 John 3:10 (Righteousness), 1 John 4:13 (Spirit’s Testimony), Hebrews 12:5-8 (Discipline) © Heartcry Missionary Society heartcrymissionary.com/books/the-gospel-of-jesus-christ-tract/

I worship The Father because he does help me, he helps you, he helps us. He is absolutely the creator. He loves me and that's my only motivation to praising him. I am free in jesus name. I am no more a slave to this world. I am no more under the heavy influence of satan. But I'm not perfect i am still human and i depend on him MY FAITH IS ON HIM. IF WE HAD TO SACRIFICE TO ONLY 2 LEADS. WHO WOULD YOU GIVE A 100 TO? The deceiver or the king, the lord of heaven, the father, jehovah, YHWH, the only king with too many names to count. Now I'm only saying you have the choice to choose. I cannot force or judge you. I can only love God and spread love and pray for you. Having the good fruits and spreading it with others makes my day more because Jesus does it so i do it. Its better than being sad, depressed, in sorrow. HELPING OTHERS IN JESUS NAME IS GREAT. Back to the God topic, i do it because it is God is love and love is kind. I can live with doing that for eternity.

This kind of stuff is really what put me off of religion when I was younger. First off I decide who I worship which is no one at this point in my life and if god made me then he would have known that I can do nothing less. The second thing is the idea that this perfect creationist would demand our worship and respect. No one that demands respect will ever earn mine. Personally no god has ever demanded or requested me to worship them. It has only been humans that have demanded such so why would I do it. So this is the question for all my religious brothers. Beyond the answer of “god is god so you must worship him” why is god worthy of my respect?

Do you consider yourself to be a good person? Most people do. However, most of us differ as to the definition of "good." The Bible says that God is good, and the Ten Commandments are His standard of goodness. So, we will look at God's Law . . . With a tender conscience, ask yourself if you have obeyed the following: You shall have no other gods before Me. (Have you always loved God above all else?) You shall not make yourself an idol. (Have you made a god in your mind that you're more comfortable with, a god to suit yourself?) You shall not take God's name in vain. (Have you ever used God's holy Name as a cuss word?) Remember the Sabbath Day, to keep it holy. Honor your father and mother. You shall not murder. (God considers hatred to be as murder). You shall not commit adultery. ("Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart" Matthew 5:27-28; this also includes sex before marriage). You shall not steal. (Have you ever stolen anything? the value of the item is irrelevant). You shall not lie. (Have you lied even once? Including answering these questions). You shall not covet. (Have you ever jealously desired what belongs to others?) The Bible says that God will punish all murderers, rapists, thieves, liars, adulterers, etc. He will even judge our words and thoughts. On Judgment Day, will you be found to be guilty or innocent of breaking His commandments? Perhaps you think that God is good, and will therefore overlook your sins. But it is His goodness that will make sure that murderers, rapists, thieves, liars, etc. receive justice. He would be a corrupt Judge if He turned a blind eye to injustice. Have you kept the Commandments? The Bible says that the Law is perfect. It commands you to be perfect (Matthew 5:48). Are you perfect (in thought, word, and deed)? Will you make it to Heaven? You may say that you are still good, but God says you're not (see Psalm 14:2-3). So one of you is lying, and the Scriptures tell us that it is impossible for God to lie. Remember that all liars will be cast into the Lake of Fire (Revelation 21:8). God's Law demands justice, and the penalty for sinning against Him is death and Hell. Listen carefully if you want to live. God Himself made a way where His justice and His goodness could meet. We broke the Law, but He became a man to pay the fine. Jesus suffered and died on the cross to satisfy the Law. God can forgive us and grant us the gift of everlasting life! But you may still think that you can (from now on) keep the Ten Commandments. But isn't it true that the best of us have lied, stolen, lusted, hated, failed to love God above all else, and failed to love our neighbor as ourselves? How can we then, live a "good" life if we have already sinned against God? At best we are reformed liars and thieves . . . but still Lawbreakers. Think of it this way - would you sell one of your eyes for a million dollars? Would you sell both for $50 million? I'm sure you wouldn't. Your eyes are priceless, yet they are merely the windows of your soul. What then must your life (soul) be worth? With these thoughts in mind, what would be a fair price to pay for everlasting life? It is utterly without price. Yet, if we trust in our own goodness to enter Heaven, we are saying to God, "I should enter Heaven because I have done good - I have earned my way in." Imagine if you wanted to give me a brand new (very expensive) car, but I said, "I can't take it! I feel embarrassed receiving such a gift . . . here's 10 cents for it." I'm sure you would be very insulted by such a pathetic offer of payment. Besides, if I pay for it, it is no longer a gift, it's a purchase . . . it's mine by right. When we talk of entering Heaven by being good, by trying to keep the Ten Commandments etc., we are tossing God 10 cents of "self-righteousness," which is a terrible insult to Him, in the light of His sacrifice. The only thing we can do is humble ourselves, repent of our sins, and receive the gift by trusting Jesus Christ alone. Almighty God demonstrated how much He loves you when Jesus suffered for you on the cross. If you want to trust in your own goodness, then you are saying His agonizing death on the cross was in vain. The Bible says, "For by grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God." You cannot earn a gift. When Jesus said to "believe" on Him, He was saying we should have faith in Him, in the same way you would trust a parachute to save you when you jump from a plane. You don't merely believe in the parachute - you put it on. Please don't "jump" without Jesus. If you die in your sins there is no second chance. God will give you justice, and you will end up in Hell forever. Any troubles you have at present are dwarfed by the trouble you are in with your Creator. His wrath abides upon you (John 3:36). God doesn't want you to go to Hell. Neither do you want to go there, so confess your sins to God right now, put your trust in Jesus to save you, and you will pass from death to life. Then read the Bible daily and obey what you read. (See John 14:21). Your obedience to God is the proof of your love. Have faith in God, He will never fail you.

Why would He put the Tree of Knowledge in the Garden if He didn't want His creations to know the difference between good and evil??!! Why would He cast Lucifer and his followers to Earth to corrupt Mankind, while when humans do evil they're destroyed??!! Why not destroy Lucifer and the Fallen Angels as He would human sinners??!!

I don’t really think that god and Jesus are the same entity. Jesus said in the Bible in matthew “not everyone saying to me “lord, lord,” will enter into the kingdom of the heavens but only the one doing the will of my father who is in the heavens will” so Jesus refers to himself as a lord never as god. He refers to god as his father. They are not the same person. Only worship God but love Jesus and learn his way

It is true that Jesus never said the exact words, “I am God.” He did, however, make the claim to be God in many different ways, and those who heard Him knew exactly what He was saying. For example, in John 10:30, Jesus said, “I and the Father are one.” The Jews who heard Him make that statement knew well that He was claiming to be God, as witnessed by their reaction: “His Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him” (John 10:31). When He asked them why they were attempting to stone Him, they said, “For blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God” (John 10:33). Stoning was the penalty for blasphemy (Leviticus 24:16), and the Jews plainly accused Jesus of claiming to be God. Jesus made another statement claiming to be God when He said, “Very truly I tell you, . . . before Abraham was born, I am!” (John 8:58). The Jews, upon hearing Him, clearly understood that He was claiming preexistence and, more than that, to be Yahweh, the great “I AM” of Exodus 3:14. On this occasion, too, they tried to stone Him for blasphemy. The Gospel of John begins with a statement of Jesus’ deity: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1, emphasis added). In verse 14, John identifies the Word: “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” John is affirming that the Word (Jesus) is God, and He left heaven to come to earth in the form of a man to live with men and display the glory of God the Father. The disciples of Jesus distinctly heard Him declare His deity. After Jesus’ resurrection, Thomas the doubting disciple finally understood Jesus’ deity, declaring Him to be “my Lord and my God” (John 20:28). If Jesus were not Lord and God, He would have corrected Thomas, but He did not; Thomas spoke the truth. After seeing Jesus walking on the water, His disciples worshipped Him (Matthew 14:33). When He appeared to them after the resurrection, they fell at His feet and worshipped Him (Matthew 28:9). The disciples were well aware of the Mosaic Law’s penalty for blasphemy, yet they worshipped Him as God, and Jesus accepted their worship. Jesus never rebuked people for worshipping Him, accepting their worship as good and proper. Jesus’ deity is recognized throughout the New Testament. Paul eagerly awaited “the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13) and encouraged us to do the same. Both Paul and John declared that Jesus created the universe (John 1:3; Colossians 1:16-17), yet Genesis 1:1 clearly says that God created the heavens and the earth. This can only mean that Jesus is God. Even God the Father referred to Jesus as God: “About the Son he says, ‘Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever’” (Hebrews 1:8, quoting Psalm 45:6). Did Jesus say He was God? Yes, in many ways, including applying the names and attributes of God to Himself. He made it clear that He was God incarnate, proving it by His words, by His miracles, and finally by His resurrection from the dead. Although they doubted at first, those who were finally convinced of His deity understood why He had to die on the cross. If He were a mere man, His death would have been only sufficient to pay for His own sins, but because He was God in the flesh, His sacrifice was infinite and holy and able to pay for all the sins of the world. www.gotquestions.org/did-Jesus-say-He-is-God.html

The trinitarian doctrine has it’s origin at the Council of Nicaea 325 A.D. The Council of Constantinople 381 A.D. the Holy Spirit was added to the mix. Man-made doctrines!

@@warrickross7117 Jesus was already in the Old Testament including Genesis, this is why he said “Let US create man in our own image” The Father, The son and the Holy Spirit.

Thats not the right question to be asking I think, I think the right question should be, is it biblical? Just because we cannot wrap out head arround it doesn't mean it's not true. What about I ask you this, does Jesus Have a beginning?😊
