In that UK comedy series To the Manor Born, Majory i talking to Audrey about the restored village ducking stool. Audrey said it used to be used mainly on village gossips. Marjory says she would not mind having a go in it. Audey replied that had she been alive in those days she would no doubt have had lots of goes in it.

Einstein said Chaplin was the only person he ever wanted to meet .. at this meeting came their famous hilarious conversation "Einstein: 'What I most admire about your art, is your universality. You don't say a word, yet the world understands you!' Chaplin: 'True. But your glory is even greater! The whole world admires you, even though they don't understand a word of what you say.'"
