Күн бұрынRovinj, on the west coast of Istria County, Croatia, has a stunning old town protruding into the sea. This charming lived-in village, with narrow cobblestone streets, tall stone houses, and a wonderful harbor, is a delight to explore. Rovinj was definitely a highlight of our travel in Croatia, and also our home base while exploring a few other locations in Istria. See links to other Croatia sights below.
Video was captured in May 2023 on a Sony FX30 camera, 4K 60P, S-Cinetone (with Color Phase +2 for more natural look), with a Sony E 15mm F1.4 G lens. Aerial scenes from Envato Elements.

Charming old town! It’s wonderful to see the mix of Croatian and Italian culture and architecture. I really appreciate the preservation of towns where the everyday people lived! I'm intrigued by the way the people had to deal with the different nationality changes thrust upon them. I measured the distance from Venice to Rovinj and found it to be 67 miles, still a formidable distance for the Italian culture to flourish. Your night footage was beautiful as was the rest of it.
