The important thing is to speak from the heart, with respect, with love, with empathy and understanding. Use common sense which combines logic and stable mature, emotional intelligence. Logic without emotional intelligence will not bring you to understanding our cosmos or our life force. We must all open ourselves to the opinions of others and to help them understand why you think as you do. Peace can only come from a willingness to listen to,a point of view other than your own.

The way he speaks about the world and men gives me motivation to get up out of bed and stop lying to myself about all the excuses I come up with. This message is for someone who needs to hear this and will fully understand it... You are not define by your circumstance or your past. It’s not what happened to you that determines your success in life; it is how you deal with those circumstances that determines your success in life. You are strong, you are capable and practice forgiveness (Forgiveness is for you; forgive your parents or anyone whom we have chosen to hurt us, to begin the process of healing and freedom. Remember: Forgiveness is for you to be freed, healed and happy. It’s a RESET BUTTON) and practice gratitude everyday. This will change the course of your life forever. Love you always and I believe in you wholeheartedly no matter what ✨❤️ - Nat

Yet many *are* wholly defined by their past in the eyes of many beholders. That is the unpleasant truth of prejudice. A man's height does not define him, or what he can make of himself... but many vvomen will reject him based on nothing but that. What's worse is the dismissals one gets for demonstrating that the problem is with the beholder...
@ianbain1269
@ianbain1269 Жыл бұрын
@@farkinarkin5099 You only need one woman, and the woman who sees your passion and vision will find a person into whom she can also invest her abilities. So finding and developing that vision by preparing to bring it into reality, even in small steps, is by far more attractive than good looks, where you come from or your size. Stop looking for the woman you would like to have, and aim at being the man whom she can partner with in a shared vision. When you focus on this, don't be surprised when you find a woman at your side, prepared to stick through thick and thin, because she believes in putting her energy into the shared vision.
@farkinarkin5099
@farkinarkin5099 Жыл бұрын
@@ianbain1269 The words are inspirational, but the reality is that most have a vision of “no short babies please”. It’s a myth since short adult height is much more a factor of nutrition in the early years than anything genetic. However, “conclusions”, right or wrong, are in the mind of the beholder. Society keeps telling vvomen that they are perfect regardless of how they cultivate and maintain their body, mind and spirit. Hence most will exclusively chase the top-tier, high value man (6 feet, 6 pack, 6 figure). They would rather share a top-tier man (hoping that he will choose them as the “keeper”) than look elsewhere --- why not, when you believe you are a 10, right? Most view shorter-than-average man as a symbol of failure and refuse to be seen with such a thing. THAT is the reality. Be the man that one can build a shared vision with? I’ve got a great career, and am set for life. While not a six-packer, I’m just a few percent of body fat away from that. I’m into all sorts of things: Art, Music, Sports, Food, etc… Just not all that tall. If I could reproduce by self-cloning, I would not even need a vvoman. That is how much I do not focus on “the woman that I want”. Being marginalized for something you cannot change, nor is a definition of what you really are? Well, I wish that upon no one. Yet, if a vvoman could experience that for just a day, they would probably all stop harboring such an irrational intolerance. = = = = =

You can live how you choose to live, you can be WHOEVER YOU choose to be, it's YOUR CHOICE!! People who make the time to try and kill your spirit are those who've lost theirs!! May God bless everyone with becoming the person YOU were "intended to be", then go "SHOW the world who YOU are"....the world will adjust and if not, OH well !!❤️🥰🙏🏼🙏🏼

I was so incredibly lost, in almost every way for many years now. I was a 90%+ in every subject high school student and let my mind get destroyed by a broken heart 2.5 years into a biochem undergrad. I dropped out over a decade ago, and have since worked a job I hated in a factory for 8 years and spent almost a year in jail for things related to my off and on decade long drug addiction. In the last few months, I have started living, to the best of my abilities, my life with almost everything I do or say going through the "what would Jordan say/think?" Filter and oh my gosh, I cannot believe how much better life can get WHEN YOU WORK FOR IT. Nothing worth anything comes easy, I had so much potential, athletically and academically and without the proper mindset, without a higher goal in life, without purpose and meaning I became a dopamine slave who let everything important in life pass him by. No more. Im not saying ill never fall again, but when I do, I know that my life has enough meaning to make me get off my ass and keep pushing forward. No matter what you're going through, how broken you feel, there is hope for meaning if you're willing to go get it.

Set up a noble goal to offset the tragedy of life... we can constrain the malevolence in our own life, & possibly in those around us... Shoulder as much individual responsibility as you can. View the world as a place, not of groups, but as sovereign individuals, who are responsible for their destinies, families, communities... etc. So interesting - this resonates ... Struggling with narcissistic personalities, trying to be fair-minded & look within rather than group these folk, all I can see is their unwarranted hatred, envy & callousness, & it shrinks my whole being. Hard to stand up against pathological liars & trickster manipulators. Enjoy your work, JP, thank you.

Some people knock off the bible. But if you read it with a purpose, you will find a fountain of wisdom that if we were as smart as we think we are, we would apply or follow such wisdom. Proverbs is a good place to start. Now this man, Dr. Peterson has so much wisdom it is hard not to stop and contemplate how one's life has been, currently is, and how it could be, if only we were willing to let go of our egos and humbly accept that we need to change and start doing so. With every person changing into a better version of themselves, the world will also change for the best too. The time to change is now.

It is a consensus amongst practitioners that the majority of people attend psychotherapy, or counselling, because there is some problem within (or perhaps around) the individual that requires change. Therefore, the view that therapists try to help clients to be content with themselves with how they (currently) are is notwithstanding. Generally speaking, the goal is to uncover the aspects of an individual that leads to the need for counselling, bring it to the client's awareness, identify resistances or maladaptive coping strategies, and then seek ways that the client can change. This is chiefly done in collaboration with the therapist and in accordance with the client's own values. Higher self-esteem, arguably, stems from uncovering one's authentic self and finding the courage, brought about by developing the necessary psychological, spiritual and behavioural skills, to put their ideal life into practice in the real world. That is, the key benefit to psychotherapy is to help people make the necessary changes to make their lives more meaningful and purposeful as they develop ways to live more authentically. In saying this, I'm aware of a counterargument to my statement since some therapies may specfically focus on bringing people to a state of self-contentment at some given time, particularly in people who have irrational, distorted, negative views of themselves. But this may just be a hurdle in the process to achieve the aforementioned. In other words, the goal of most therapy, to my understanding, isn't self-contentment per se. Perhaps, from a superficial perspective, it is to reach total self-contentment, but this is not typically achieved if a person isn't living up to their own (rational and life-loving) ideals, which invariably requires self-work. Furthermore, life is ever-changing. Thus, contentment is transient; as we grow older and continue to develop, what matters to us changes and how we align ourselves with these changes is an ever-changing process in itself. I'll illustrate: if you are a someone who was once content with just playing video games all day (particularly in your younger years, but have not given it up) and feel like your life is lacking self-esteem because you are missing interpersonal relationships (e.g., because your friends have grown out of playing videogames), I cannot envision any therapist saying "you should be content with yourself because videogames are what you have always enjoyed doing". To the contrary, they are more likely to explore if it is a possible barrier, and find ways, according to the clients own values, that they can address this problem. To sum it up: you grow until the day you die. If you feel that you are not living a truthful, meaningful life, you may be inclined to seek therapy in order to be assisted in the processes to make necessary changes (i.e., perhaps you are blocked by fear and anxiety). What was important to you yesterday, may not be so important today; it is ever-unfolding. So I go back to my question: where are the therapists endorsing contentment as Peterson illustrated? I'm going to go with the (weak, because he may be right that there are such therapists out there, I don't know) attack on Peterson by saying that he has set up an argument based on a false assumption about many psychotherapists. Is this to popularise himself? Dare I commit a fallacy of assuming his motive. Nonetheless, he is both correct and empowering in his approach, and he is clearly coming from an existentialist perspective.

The message was so interactively penetrating and relatively relatable its freaky. Wow.. I felt effectively sorry and humbled admitting inwardly of how ive lost track in life. Hahahaha dunno what to say, never expected how humbling and wise your different way is in opening eyes in an assertive manner Mr. Peterson, sir. Its psychological triggering effect is positively challenging and it projects a positive efficacy of effect for change not to let such assertiveness and realization for the reipient's own benefit and own good down, It psychologically makes me feel sorry to let the speaker down, considering its concern and purpose is for my own sake that's how impactful it was. Makes me wish inwardly to keep on listening constantly non-stop or else i end up doing tip toes again towards backsliding. Shameful honest truth. Well, anyways thank you sir. It's a positive message to share on Social media do i lack the confidence to do so in consideration of being unworthy. It may seem harder and most of all necessary to practice first before being credibile to share the good preach. The irony also that i end up being here on the comment section by contribution of wine/alcohol. Still i feel glad to say it as it is. Pbwya.

I admire the confidence of explorer Ferdinand Magellan, be fearless. He saw the earth's shadow on the moon at a time the church said the earth is flat, trust shadows, follow your instincts. He circumnavigate the earth in the 1500s.

I get up in the afternoon but I study and do things all night what most people do during the day I learn more at night. I get up early when I have to if I had a film to do in the morning I wil get up before anyone but to get up early just to get up makes u more successful is wrong it's doing it when u have to. It's because most people get up early I am nit most people.

Agree. Very strong and straightforward message. If mastery and masculinity are subjects of interest to you, I invite you to use the resources on the Mastery Order Channel and challenge yourself with some ideas about manhood to become the kind of man you would admire. We can only better ourselves together, as men among men, so I invite you to use what I share and, of course, share your own opinions so that others can benefit from them as well. Looking forward to your points of view. All the best to you!
