It's a widely accepted theory that the Boss was secretly giving snake presents every year. The presents then stopped when Snake killed her, making him believe he was put on the naughty list.

(Big spoilers) Since Venom Snake and BB are two different people I would've been fine with the Keifer Sutherland "replacement" if David Hayter had still voiced the real Big Boss/"Ishmael", but I guess that would've given the twist away. Just the fact that he speaks so little in TPP makes the recast feel so pointless other than Kojima stroking his Hollywood boner.

Kojima changed the game's tone in first place, then the tapes content, the BB character, and finally the voice actor. The BB voice could have been different since MGS3 but with the goofy talk there.

@@ExaltedUriel They should've had Sutherland voice Ishmael during the prologue, but have Hayter voice him during the epilogue and BB's tapes. They could have even kept Sutherland for GZ, because it'd all be justified as Venom's implanted memories. (Holy, how many typos did I make writing this at first @_@)

The funniest thing is what snake was saying is actually true i remember reading something about it in some book That the US actually tried to track down santa claus using NORAD They even showed photgraphic evidence of said santa claus The hotline i dont know about but they defintely just did it for the heck of it for the kids Also i remember they started doing this during the 50s Also they are still doing it They even made a website for it NORAD made it a yearly tradition every 1st day of december
