Here's what the best players do to make to create that easy effortless golf swing 👇
1. They use the 9 to 3 drill
2. The hidden pivot move that is key to effortless power
3. They never look at the ball they always do this
What's great is all of the above is not just for young athletic tour players. You too can access this effortless golf swing.
Whether you are looking to strike your irons better or hit driver straight this is where I would start.

ABOUT DANNY
-----------------------
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!
I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.
On KZfaq and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.
Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble
I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

I needed to see this. I've been struggling all week with making consistent contact because I was rushing my backswing. The thing about this game that's so intriguing to me is how important confidence is for making great shots. The times that I've played my best were when I had the smooth flowing swing that resulted in great contact/striking. When that's happening you almost get in a zone where you know you are going to do it over and over again every time you step up to the ball. That's when this game is so much fun! But all good things must come to an end. We let a few bad shots get into our heads and brings more bad shots. Then we want to toss out clubs into the pond and quit forever! 😂 Thanks Danny. I'm going to try to incorporate this drill as a way to reset if I feel like I'm rushing.

it's great that you use multiple methods to teach; audio, visual, kinesthetic. Golf is mostly about the feel when hitting a shot but you also have to see the shot in your mind and on the course. You keep it simple and concise.

Morning, Dan - Great video, thanks. Had lesson last week - was picking club up on backswing so coach had me keeping club face looking at ball longer which helped massively and also helped with staying in posture and correct pivot. Your video has rubber stamped a lot from my lesson ! Thanks Dan 👍😁

Great lesson that can effectively be part of any pre-shot setup. I have watched on TV Tommy Fleetwood doing the 9-3 routine and did not correlate that to his wonderful ball striking capabilities, likewise with Anna pouring water from both ears. This along with the catapult reference makes for some smoothing of the swing into an effortless swing. Keep these drills coming!

How interesting! I have just read some of the other comments and the key point really is simple, practical, clear instruction! Simple suggestions about space to swing, time to “gather” a heave bag, pivot not sway, pressure not shift are such a useful refining of “traditional” golf speak! If you are new to this Chanel - this one is worth rewatching a few times just to get all the good stuff!!

This really works well. I figured this out going to the range myself. I started thinking about how Tony Robbins talked about teaching people how to become marksman by starting close to the target and moving away. So I reduced my swing a lot and I started hitting the ball straight and farther.

I did this in my back yard today - it feels like I have so much more time and control. Interestingly, I watched my reflection from a window and noticed I had way too much wrist hinge when I first tried the drill. When I adjusted to less hinge it made a huge difference with my ball then turf contact. Love the drill!

Hi. I tend to always go back to a too rushed swing. And I need this 1 and 2 in my head. You have mentioned that several times. One time you suggested saying 'Ernie Els'. But I alway saying it faster and faster in my head. But now I've found the perfect words. 'Severiano Ballesteros'. That gives me the perfect rythm. 🙂

Fantastic tips, as usual. I'm going to the range tomorrow to try it. And looks like a good pre-shot routine to try if things aren't going well during a round. And I expect that the Orange Whip would be good to use on the 9 - 3 drill.
