Hey guys!! You’re seriously not going to believe your eyes… Today I’m testing out a dupe for the Natasha Denona Gold Eyeshadow Palette. If you don’t know, the Gold palette is my absolute FAVORITE eyeshadow palette of all time. One of you tagged me in an instagram photo about the Alter Ego Goddess Palette, which is an obvious copy cat for the Gold palette (and only $16). I immediately knew I had to try it! She added a note in the info area that states there was more fallout throughout the day from the alter ego eye shadows. Nothing too bad but she recommended priming your eyes and/or using glitter glue.

I used bhcosmetics primer pot with a few drops of Duraline mixed in for all my shadows. Goddess lasted 14 hours. UD and TF do not make it past 12.

I think I’d just save over a $100 and buy the $16 one. Maybe a little better formula with the higher end but you can’t tell a difference between the two on your eyes. Looking beautiful as always.

The ND palette is amazing knowing how her shadows work I dont think this would work as great or last as long. I LOVE the Gold palette seriously one of the only palettes I will say are worth the money but I would also get it when they do a black Friday sale or Sephora sale thats what I did.

I LOVE my Goddess palette (and I have the ND Gold one also). I prefer the softer, more buildable formula of Goddess...I'm not a pro and the Natasha Denona mattes are more pigmented but harder to blend out. I also think the Goddess shimmer shades are easier to pick up!

I have to say, I absolutely love and appreciate this video and comparison! This is the type of dupe video I like to see. It’s truly honest, and I want to hear the comparison of formulas and feel. I would love to buy a ND palette, but can’t justify it right now... especially on colors that, while I find them beautiful, I’m not sure how practical they are for me in everyday wear situations. I like finding dupes to see if the color palette is one that I I’ll use often. And if I do, I tend to be much more willing to spend the money on the name brand version. Thanks for this! I appreciate dupes when they put enough effort in to create a quality product but for less money. But for this one, the thing that sells me on Natasha Denona is the formula and the uniqueness of her eyeshadows. Nothing beats them in my opinion. Love you Allie! 💕

I totally get that it's not for everyone! To be fair make-up only started to be of interest to me last year, so I would've probably said the same before. But just to give a different perspective, eyeshadow became some sort of passion for me, I enjoy doing it everyday as some kind of me time. I like getting creative and palettes like these are an amazing addition to a collection. So to say it short: eyeshadow can be a hobby and palettes like these can feel like a collectors item.

I became extremely intrigued and interested in makeup about one year ago, and I collected a lot of palettes in a short time because I felt excited about something for the first time in years. I couldn't afford, nor did I even know about high end products at first. So I have a lot of buyer's remorse for the specific palettes and companies I purchased from. But I had fun at the time (and now my cousin has a lot of palettes I never used and wouldn't reach for, since my collection - - and my wish list/loves list is much more curated).

Rozemarijn Kastermans - I understand and agree with you but to some degree. I think you can still do what you just mentioned without spending $130 in one palette. That price it’s just exorbitant. The ingredients and production to make that palette (or any high end and luxury makeup items) doesn’t cost even a quarter of that price tag. I also enjoy and collect makeup, but I do not want or need to spend over $60-$70 for any single items. Anything over that price, and you would be just only paying for a brand name stamped on an item, and that to me is worthless. Very high quality products are available out there with much reasonable price tags so there is no need to overspend 🤷🏻‍♀️

I understand that $129 is a splurge, not unlike buying the latest iPhone or a luxury car. One of the things that makes me gravitate to ND is the attention to ingredients. Most dupe palettes are made in China, use mineral oil, etc. but ND even goes so far as to use mica that is not mined using child labor, a common practice when mining mica. Fair labor and ethically sourced ingredients can be a big factor in determining whether something is worth the price tag.

just watched this and IMMEDIATELY went to the site and bought it! I have been dying to get my hands on those eyeshadows! The colors are so unique and I couldnt tell the difference between the two on your eyes! This may be the most exciting makeup product I've purchased!

Sydney Grace Cosmetics has AMAZING eyeshadows and if you go to her page she has dupes for that palette I believe plus others
