We started at Kala Pathar beach which is the most beautiful and picturesque beach on Havelock Island. Then we take our scooters to the start of the 1.8km trek point to get to Elephant Beach. Elephant Beach is perfect for snorkelling and getting away from the crowded main beaches.
After swimming, dancing, and snorkelling with the fish on Elephant Beach we grab lunch on the way to Radhanagar Beach - the largest and most popular beach on Havelock Island. Then I tell you one of the reasons why I love India so much, India simply has it all!
Forget Goa, forget any other beach in India; the Andaman and Nicobar Islands have the best beaches I've seen in India so far! Havelock certainly has the best beaches between it and Neil Island. Neil Island is more for relaxing on the beach.
In 2018 Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi renamed Havelock Island to Swaraj Dweep, Ross Island to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Island, and Neil Island to Shaheed Dweep.

Shahana it's better that way and that's why our governments have never tried to tinker with this. These islands should be preserved and yes if you want gradual development programs, yes that can be done. Especially sports ground should be really really fun there with day night fixture.

This took me back to my trip to Andaman. Havelock is a treasure, an unparalleled beauty. Trek to elephant beach is fun and once you reach the beach , wow , it’s spectacular. I have been to a lot of beaches but the white sand , clear blue green colours here are unmatched. Neil island is a treasure as well. Port Blair has some amazing beaches as well. The sunrise at Radhanagar beach is worth an experience. Thanks Karl.

Small correction.. Andaman and Nicobar Islands was the first to get independence before India. Subhash Chandra Bose from Indian army started Azad hind fouz from Andaman.

Hello Karl, I just returned from India back to Florida my home and I want to thank you for your videos and advice that I learned from you. The true beauty I found in India, were the people, I made so many friends there on this trip of 2 weeks. I went there primarily for business, and do some shopping for friends. I came away with a wonderful experience of learning their culture and how much they cared for each other, and of complete strangers like myself. My advice to others about to go there, learn to be open and outgoing in meeting them and they will respond with friendship and care right back to you. I also suggest using Karls book, as it helps a lot in fitting in.Thank you again.

@Suresh M I say , it's useless to say anything about them because they will see and speak about India only that they want to. But they ARE losing their propaganda by growing India's might. Also , Amir Khan got a tight shot after that remark and he was underground for 12 months . Today pretty much anti India propaganda is marginalized because of India's economy and even when they spew propaganda , people have no option other than dealing with India because of her growing might. Muslim propaganda remains a main cause of India's image globally.
