Welcome to our KZfaq channel!
We are loving family that live in Bamboo Huts in Rural Thailand. Damo (me), Ryan (my husband), and Otis (Our Son) spend our days taking care of the land and the animals and enjoying each others company.

Formally Ryan worked for "The Coffee Club Thailand" Chain, but now we have opted for a simpler lifestyle, and living in "The Now". On the vlog we will show you what it is like to live in Rural Thailand, details on plants we grow on our land, and most importantly our honest and authentic selves, the good, the bad and the ugly.

That is some serious physical work by Damo’s mom! Maybe tiring some days, but keeps a person fit and strong. So different from a rather sedentary apartment life, working at a computer. It strikes me that humans were meant to live in community, connected to family, rather than in isolation like so many of us in the west. We have the convenience’s (for that I am grateful), but typically lack daily communion with elders and children (multi generational living) and the connection to the land. I am craving both, which is partly why I just love watching your videos.

Always amazes me how much effort and thought Thai people put in to food preparation. It is a very social activity that they get a lot of joy and satisfaction from.. love the cart, bit more effort needed in the restoration Ryan. You are lucky to have a smart father in-law. A very innovative man and mum is typical strong Thai lady.

A family of many skills. Great to hear your music, very soothing. My 26 years relationship (married for 15) is going through a rough patch but watching your family Vlogs gives me confidence that there is always light at the end of the tunnel. I am now in Bangkok with my 17 year old daughter. Thailand is helping me to heal❤️❤️

Wow, you surprised me with that song! lol It was great! Love watching you guys build the property up. My thai wife and I are going to be doing the same thing in a couple years. Have a couple pieces of land in Prachuap Khiri Khan. Can't wait to live a more simple life. We have two kids, 6 and 10. We want to spoil them with our attention and teach them that life doesn't have to be so hectic. Keep up the good work!

I still pound my ingredients in a mortar and pestle, I find it more convenient for a small quantity.. that family size mortar and pestle is used by many households in Indonesia! I love it.

We found old horse collars for draught horses under our old house.. Leather stuffed with hay. Two of them. And about 4 huge horse shoes. Our house was built in 1927 it was an apricot orchards.

Love the cart you pulled out from the old house. It reminded me of our old cart that my dad bought from Lopburi to decorate our front yard when I was a kid. It was broken many, many ears ago as it was standing under the rain&sun.
