Situated inside the deep south of the United States now sits the long-forgotten product of hard work and dedication for Matthew. He was an Air Force pilot for profession and after finally retiring, he enjoyed the freedom of being able to fly for fun, traveling and doing whatever he wanted. One fateful day however, when his parents visited, they asked him to take off and do tricks for them to see, but after he did, a malfunction occurred in the engine and he crashed right in front of their eyes, in the backyard of his own home. This was a pain neither Alice nor Steve could bear to hold, and even months after, things were not the same for them. Alice quit her job as a teacher which she loved so dearly, and she and Steve mourned their son's loss for the rest of their years alive. After the heartbreaking news of their death appeared, no remaining family member could stand the heartbreak of returning to the home, where they had spent countless hours making many memories that they would remember forever. Ever since 2019, both Matthew’s home and his parents have sat abandoned, sitting forgotten, and losing all the cherished memories and collectibles they had spent their lives collecting.
