That is such a great help in crazy parking lots...people dont watch as they walk and or try to hurry by you when they see you backing up. I just got a 2022 Tucson Hybrid and I made sure it had that feature or I wouldnt buy it....in 2017 I went with a CRV because Hyundai only offered many of the standard CRV safety features on the top of the line with expensive packages making the CRV cheaper.

True and also a feature it has is warning you not to open a door if there’s a car or person approaching

@@lanaofficiel4042 Yes she was driving a 2016 Hyundai that was totaled. Now she is driving a 2022 Hyundai and she loves the features and the ride.

I also met another lady some years back, and she told me that she was once in an accident on Route 80 in Pennsylvania and she was driving a Hyundai Elantra and she swore by that car, that she survived without any incident because of that car. The car was wrecked, but she was without injury and yes, she bought another Hyundai Elantra. I am researching between the Hyundai Tucson and the Toyota RAV4, so you gave me some additional valuable information. Thanks again for your reply.

I call that a problem of the idiots who tailgate; not the vehicle (similar to blaming a gun for shooting someone). I will say the turn signal on my '23 should have been LED (faster on/off is noticeable and brighter) however, first night I replaced them with LEDs. As for visibility, I get behind a '22 Tucson a lot in the mornings (before and after purchasing the my '23) and never had a problem seeing the turn signals. And this is NOT the only vehicle that has bumper mounted turn signals.

@@douglasdever6134 well, let’s just say I live in one of those Asian cities that have very small roads and a very dense population, so people on average are used to driving much closer than elsewhere…on top of that it’s overrun with scooters that stick VERY close to cars (to the point that they will likely miss bumper signals) as they weave in and out between traffic, so that is actually another primary concern…and this might be the only vehicle I know of thus far that they actually sell here with bumper signals…the problem is I do like this car, and I also hope it’s a non issue

You don't have to use the key fob to lock it, just have the key fob on you ans touch the button on the door handle as you exit and close the door. Same thing to unlock it, just push the button.

@@sarahboudreau1609 Thank you that is technically true, I should have specified better....but that is very hit and miss...and frankly a PITA lol....I have to move my finger around and get it just right to get mine to work... easier to just hit the fob.....but much much easier to just walk away like I can do with my CRV. Simple things please me lol....but I don't understand why something so simple couldn't be included on a $35,000 Tucson.

The limited version will send you a Notification on your phone if you forget to lock it and then you can lock it from your phone it is very convenient you can also start it from your phone anywhere

@@stockc6zo626 I have an app I can remote lock, unlock and start but it doesn't remind me to lock it....good point about the app.....that seems like a simple app addition....if they can't put in an auto lock in the cars computer maybe 1 in the app? When your digital key/phone gets more than a couple feet away it auto locks.

I am planning to buy a Tucson PHEV SEL. The Tucson has earned five star ratings from the IHS and done as well in Europe. However, that sidecar impact with the pole I agree looks troubling. Hopefully deployment of the airbags will protect occupants.

I was quoted €500, by an hyundai dealer,to replace a crack outside tail light,they are a nice motor,but you will pay top dollar for replacement parts

@@jwskye1969 It's a 2021 car with 5 year guarantee (at least in Europe), so how you get billed by Hyundai dealer? Even if it would be your fault I guess you have an insurance that should carry this out?

@@grzegorzskrzypek7089 mine is a 2017,it's not covered by warranty, as it is not a fault of hyundai making,someone hit taillight, and just drove away without my knowledge, plus its not worth claiming on insurance, as it would be classed as a claim and insurance would go up

One thing about KIA and Hyundai is deny deny deny, and then excuse after excuse after excuse rather than admit there is something wrong with the engines, eventually adding more and more model and model years to their list of recalls. I've been following their fires and each time it's something else: oil drip pan, coolant, some other electrical wire, all that can lead to fire, and yet they still can't admit that there is an issue with the rods.
