I thought she was quite rude. She was rude to Alisha when she questioned how well Alisha knew her chosen person. Then she was rude to the guy who said "pleasure" (meaning pleasure to meet you) to which she sarcastically replied "I'm sure it's nice to meet me too".

It is a stacked deck so if 10 is selected then card will be 2 or spade. The difference with AGT is that Heidi chose the number after 2 of spade was chosen. Also Heidi was asked to chose a number between 1 and 52, while Alicia was 1-12.

She remembered the first 12 cards. A simple memory pattern will help her recall those cards. Since she already recalled the 10th card by memory, she handled the deck of cards and made a force choice of that 10th card. The rest of the cardistry is her showmanship.

Explain then why 2 judges SEPARATED by ocean said the same NUMBER.

@@YYC403NOYP explain why you as a magician on national and international media would chose the same number and cards, knowing people would ask this question. She could have forced any other card each time she did the trick. and forced a different number.

That they picked the number 10 on two different shows is a complete coincidence. The card itself isn't a coincidence, but she made a mistake on the other show.

She knows the first 12 cards of the deck that she gives at the very beginning. She looks at the shuffled deck and forces the 10th card. That's it! Her force was very sloppy.

Basically, it was a demonstration of steely nerves to pull off all those flourishes under pressure with a bit humorous showmanship and a standard card slight to keep it interesting. Well done!

Heidi said on America's Got Talent which I agree 100% with that she has a million $ smile. In my opinion she has the BEST smile in the world ! !

There used to be a show on SyFy with a magician that essentially used suggestive colors and phrases to force people to pick stuff that would fit the trick (can’t remember his name or the show tho). I’d imagine she’s doing something similar to get the judges to pick 10 and 2 of Spades.

Judges were in on the act obviously. No way 10 would be chosen 2/2 (bday and a number between 1 and 52).

she's late when 'guessing' alesha's month the deck she didn't touch was arranged in a way so she knew all the first 12 cards and depending on alesha's month, she'll choose a different card to force shane to choose not a hard trick but amazing presentation!

I don't enjoy magic tricks coz I don't know how they are done but with your tip and a reverse button on my fone I think it's quite clear. that riffling was anything but genuine, probably one of the worst I've seen. but she had good stage presence etc and easy on the eye

but it was 10 down in the Deck....Unless Alysia was in on the trick

@@salsol1977 The way she did it was - in that second deck which she hadn't touched, she already knew the order of the first 12 cards. Obviously Alisha would choose a number between 1 and 12 as the month of the birthday. When Alisha chose 10 she knew that she had to manipulate the first deck to ensure that the guy chose the 2 of spades as the card which he "randomly" chose (which wasn't random as she clearly had the 2 of spades ready as the card to be chosen). Had Alisha chosen a different month then she would have manipulated the deck to make sure that months card was chosen. Alisha wasn't in on it.

@@justinsheteh9156 When she did this trick on Penn and Teller, they correctly hinted that she memorized the cards in the 2nd deck. Unfortunately due to the camera angle used @1:54 mark, it exposed her force card (2 of spades). As for David shuffling the card, it didn't matter since she was looking at the number side of the cards after he handed the cards back to her. . She has way more difficult tricks and cardistry showmanship up her sleeves, due to the nature of the show most contestants have to hold back stuff to show something new each time they advance.

It's a basic trick and so it's also just a set up. But her perfomance stands out though. Kinda dissapointed though that she's doing the same acts all over, she did the same trick 3 years ago on penn & teller
