He lied about his age. She wouldn't have slept with him if she knew his true age. Granted that doesn't excuse failing to use protection, but Georgie was more in the wrong that she was at the time so I can see the point that her and her mom are making. To be fair, he knows what he did was wrong and has been trying to make amends ever since.

How would you feel if you slept with someone, found out they were a teenager and then found out you were pregnant by the person who lied to you? That doesn't just go away

His job at the auto shop went away because the man who owned it moved away. That was the neighbor: Billy Sparks's father. He divorced Billy's mother and moved away and moved his shop far away too. Presumably, it was too far away for a teenager with no car or driver's license to commute. In season 5 episode 5, one episode after she bought the laundromat/casino, she told Dale that she was going to take Georgie away from his store and out him in her store. Initially, Dale suggested that she take Sheldon but she wasn't having that (probably because Sheldon would have had her arrested), so Dale let her take Georgie. When Georgie saw the truth about Mee Maw's business, he was all too willing to help out. He has very few morals and didn't care about breaking the law.

Depends on the municipality or if in the country. Could be the house was in the country and didn't get connected when town built up around it. If you flush enzymes periodically, they eat and break down the waste. Most septic tanks have an opening so they can be pumped.

The US has three times the landmass of India but not even a third as many people. Put another way there are 35 people per square KM in the US vs 433 per square KM in India. It's simply not practical to plumb ever home in this country through central plumbing systems. Much of the population in the US is concentrated in big cities where city sewer and sanitation systems are used but the rest of the population lives in pretty rural settings and most of them use septic tanks.

Hi Christopher! So good to see your comments again! I missed your analysis comments. Regarding your point at 1:57, the bigger question should be why missy is disgusted at all. A septic tank is sealed (or maybe not in this case) but more importantly it is fairly deep underground. And any leakage would go even deeper into the ground. The surface definitely has ZERO contaminants from that septic tank. And yes Mandy definitely had a lot of rock bottom points in life. Having to use an outdoor toilet on top of everything else is rock bottom in my opinion. Anyway why do you think the cops finally arrested MeeMaw? If they were unhappy with the amount of money MeeMaw was giving the cops why didn’t they just come and ask for a higher percentage. Was that monetary cooperation only temporary from the beginning? MeeMaw should not have tried evading the cops. She might have been able to beat the charge regarding operating an unlicensed gambling room, but she could not have beaten the charge about evading arrest, hence why she had to strike a plea bargain agreement with prosecutors.

Missy is "Dumb as soup" as always It was revealed in this episode that the cop whom Mee Maw had been bribing finally snitched on her. Why that just happened now, I don't know. And yes, Mee Maw doomed herself by evading arrest.

@@lw216316 I thought the point of the light was to let people on the outside know that there's someone in there. Of course, a locked door should do the trick, but a light can help too. Better not to see what's in there? Um, George Senior may have died because he didn't see what was in there while the women did, they got away in time, and they lived on and on. So I beg to differ.
