I was quite disappointed with Maguire, Chilwell and Gallagher. Maguire was error prone. Chilwell couldn't control the ball and his shots are in the space station. Gallagher ran a lot but his entire passing range was sideways. Gordon and Mainoo were refreshing.

Stones and Maguire were very slow defenders and was punished several times by Brazil pacey attackers before finally the goal came. The question is how can Southgate didn't found that weakness but kept that in 2nd half?? England will never win anything under Southgate, Trust me...

That Brazil back line has very good players, Fabricio is the best Defender in Brazilian league and has not been dribbled past thid season Beraldo is PSG new Star CB Wendell is best LB in Portuguese league Danilo has been a rock for Juventus But English people don't watch football outside England and think those players are bad.. remembering that this defense is not the starter. Murillo (Nottingham Forest), Bremer, Militão, Gabriel Magalhães, Beraldo and Marquinhos, any of these could easily be the defense duo. Wendell is not unanimous on the side, we have Caio Henrique, who is the leader in assists in Ligue One, Carlos Augusto, regular at Inter Milan, Samuel Lino (Atlético Madrid) and Vanderson (Monaco) who has been sought after by major European teams.

He was crap. England struggled to create anything and he was one of the main attacking players. Gordon isn’t a special needs person, where we have to patronise him and claim a mediocre performance was good. England have far better players with more technical, ability and variation to beat scare top teams. This performance showed Gordon shouldn’t go to the Euros. Why is Eze who has far more elite level technique not given a chance like Gordon got.

@@johannsebastienbach there is a reason Pep wanted Eze and had no interest in Maddison and Gordon. Maddison is too slow for a winger and Gordon don’t have the technique. Eze has both speed, technique and flair and will cause more problems for top defenders.

"Shine" What makes it worse is the fact that Brazil played without Neymar, Richarlison, Casemiro, Martinelli, Alisson, Ederson, Militao, Silva, Marquinhos, Lodi, Gabriel and you name it whilst 7 players made their debut cap for Brazil against a squad who played with a lot of 1st team players. EDIT: I have a dude naming Henderson in my comments 💀 Wasn't this England's "generational talents" that were on the field yesterday. Players who play for the biggest clubs in England and get weekly salaries, most of Brazil's B team that played yesterday, can only dream of. 3 shots on goal lmao. A Brazilian fully fit squad with all of their superstars would demolish England. You guys won a World Cup once when the internet wasn't invented and you want to compare yourself with the big boys. Just like Kane's Spurs curse at Bayern there are more trophyless years for England to come. The Euro's? Play like this and Germany and France will have a field day with you guys

You were naturalized by the debuting cast from Brazil. Defense was reserve. They didn't even wear a number 9 shirt. You were afraid of them, you only managed to attack when Brazil made mistakes, it wasn't your creation. Bellingham was in the pocket of Paqueta, Bruno Guimaraes and Joao Gomes. Nobody even saw him.

I also want to see this, I hate that CBF take our friendlies to any other countries but never play in Brazil. We also want to have Europeans coming to Maracanã. It was so cool in 2014 when Netherland stayed in Copacabana, we would go to the beach and find the Netherland NT in there, so red from the scorching sun lol it was so crazy and fun. We joked that the they came for the beach and not for the WC, but looks like the beach did them good because they went far in that cup. I miss 2014 WC so much. What I mean is, we would love to have other teams coming to play in Maracanã against Brazil.

We lacked creativity the only ones doing anything were Gordon and Jude but bad technical players like Gallagher and Chilwell were stopping every bit of their fluidity. Begs the question Gallagher can’t attack nor defend against top players so what does he bring?

Gilberto Silva did not really answer the question about Endrick. Why should we bother about Endrick? He can score, he can dribble, he is fast, he has leadership mentality and gets players to play in difficult situations, most importantly he is about the game and less about shit like social media etc. will he be really that big? I mean yesterday was a great indication that he definitely can do well in Europe, and get Brazil to once again be head-head against European NTs.

Gordon and Mainoo along with Dunk and Bowen are the reason that a new England team needs to be made and they should be leading that. Maguire, Walker, Henderson, Philips and Rashford have had enough chances and need replacing permanently, they are out of date and need to be scrapped.

I’m done with England until they get a better coach than Southgate. England will keep losing to beatable teams with his poor team selections, attraction to hardworking mediocre players over players with real talent and poor in game management. How is Dunk a terrible defender in the squad and Tomori not in the squad at all? Dunk’s low quality is why England lost the game with his mistake that led to the goal. Mainoo did more in 2 minutes than Gallagher did for the entire game. A midfielder who runs all day but can’t pass accurately the ball is useless, so stop picking Gallagher. I’m sorry Watkins isn’t good enough either, he has had enough games and working hard is fine, but he clearly doesn’t have the technical level for international football. Let’s see Toney, who is closer to Kane in technique and attributes. We all know there is a secret rule, that England cannot select too many Black players and look like France, which is why so many one dimensional white players like Gordon, Dunk and Gallagher find it far easier to get into the England team. How is Eze a two footed winger and number 10 not in this team and Gordon is? How is Manioo not starting ahead of the very limited Gallagher and how is Dunk the second choice central defender and Tomori not even selected? It is suspicious how youth England teams that won all these youth titles were like 80% black players and the number of black players dramatically decrease for the senior England selection. Until England get rid of this coach the white bias in selection, England will not win a thing,
