I thought my dad was a pos my entire life because my mother told me he was. When I became an adult, I finally got to know him. He's a great guy and their relationship didn't work because my mother is impossible to please and is unable to be happy (I know this from my own experience). I miss KS's insight. My sister and I saw my father once after the divorce ( he married the other woman) we never saw him again. Didn’t know where he lived. Didn’t get any communication from him either. When my Mom and Daddy divorced the only thing that changed is that my Daddy no longer lived with us. He was still in my life, at my games, plays, graduation. He was my mothers 2nd husband, my Mom married one more time, after her 3rd husband passed, when she needed help with the grandkids, my Daddy came to help her. They remained friends up until his death, she's living in the house that would have been their forever home but he passed away a year prior to her move. Trust, Mothers get blamed for keeping fathers away all the time but my thing is if a Dad wants to be in a childs life, He would move hell and high water to see his child.

Parental alienation is more common than you'd think. We have a family friend, this guy now and adult and has 2 kids and he is raising them alone. He grew up with his mother whom alienated him from his dad, Now an adult he reconciled with his father and got to know the truth and now doesn't even see his mom anymore, he completely disowned her for all the lies she was feeding him as a young boy, therefore he grew up fatherless and now the two of them are making up lost time and do things together. Women are quick to jump in the victim basket and pull you down with a complete disregard to your reputation and often alienate kids against you, or any men, any ex she had in the past. Never taking accountability for her ill decisions.

It still amazes me that so many of these women really do not understand the life saving advice that Kevin is giving them. If they could put their delusional egos away and follow these wise words, their lives would be so much better. R.I.P Mr Samuels, you are deeply missed here in Australia.

@scotthamilton3469 RNs don't make good money. You people are lost. I retired at 39 with an $8 million net worth, and that's nothing special where I live. I know people who own $ 8 million cars. I come from a family of doctors, and my wife is an endocrinologist. RNs, nurses etc it's all the same stuff they are low paid manual laborers in hospitals, and that's why you never see doctors marrying nurses they are different social classes, and its like marry the cleaning lady.
