Hello from Denmark.i really love youngfolk knits. I also have a crafting book. I do clippings, different yarn and write recipes. I put cross words in it so the book is fun to read and take a look in. Right know i am knitting two different sweaters and a big shall/scarf. Thank you youngfolk knits.❤ Minimuuh Corner.❤

I like to listen/half watch while I do work (I work remotely), and I happened to glance over right when you started showing the notions page, and my jaw DROPPED. Good heavens, I do NOT need more fancy notions storage, (I *just* ordered some really nice items from various makers) but I will certainly "need" it in a paycheck or two or three 😅😅

On the topic of rowing out, I never heard of it until I saw it in discussion on Andrea Mowry’s podcast. Well I shouldn’t have been so smug that I never get it because when I knit up my first continental swatch flat … I got it! Grrrrrrrr! In other news, I really like the top (or dress?) you are wearing in this video!

I love my Thread and Maple binder! I take my interchangeable page with me when I travel and it has saved me a ton of money. I always visit yarn stores on my trips and always find a project I want to cast on so I would have to buy needles too, now that I can carry my full set with me I haven't had to do that!!! The quality is unbelievable as well and the company is also amazing.

FYI might want to think about - when knitting a piece that needs to be sewn together and there is rubbing - couple of things I have found - don’t do the rubbing first unless you are doing fronts 2 at a time. Don’t do the rubbing for the back, provisional cast on, sew together than do the rubbing.

Hi Kaci I heard somewhere that it’s mainly continental knitters that row out and it doesn’t really affect flickers/throwers 😊
@notalazysuzen
@notalazysuzen 4 ай бұрын
Oh! I knit both ways and have a special talent for rowing out regardless of what technique I use 😅 Always on the purl side though. From my experience it has a lot to do with having naturally loose tension (I notice the similar issues with students in my knitting classes!). Rowing out will getcha no matter what 😆

I've been watching your podcast for a long time, and enjoy it. You are a sweet gal and I like your happy and smiley demeanor. I have a request, and of course its your podcast and you can create it the way you want, but the opening music, the tune that starts when the needle of the record player hits the record has a sad almost depressing sound, and doesn't match your happy attitude. I have to mute my tv so I don't hear it. I think a happy and upbeat song would set the tone better for the happiness we all get from knitting. However, if you do not want to change the song, it doesn't matter, I will continue to watch, and mute at the beginning of your podcast. Your still doing a great job, I enjoy your podcast and happy attitude.
