There are only 2 podcast that I watch that make me want to sew (I don't actually like sewing but have all the fabrics and patterns). Would you be open to having an episode where you take us along on a Tate Romper journey? Everything from picking fabric to cutting, ironing, sewing, fitting, etc? I love a sewing journey and maybe one about such a loved pattern that I actually want to sew would be just the thing that makes me do it!

Lol! I was in High school when Northern Exposure started!!! It was a fun show ❤ and I also love all things 80’s brat pack, however, um I don’t show my kids the movies because PG ratings back then were more like PG-13 or R 😮 16 Candles was my absolute favorite, but oh man it did NOT age well I was mortified when I watched it as a mom of a 16yr old girl 😂 Yes to all the sewing!! I am getting up my nerve to make a dress or skirt. I adore Laura Penrose’s blankets. I actually love knitting blankets in the summer on the couch with all the air conditioning! Girl, I am in the South too and it has just been brutal! 3-7pm is killing my air conditioner as it tries to keep up. Not that I'm glad you haven't felt much like knitting, but glad to know I'm not alone. I've been thinking what is wrong with me??? I usually get some knitting done every day. Here in Central Virginia it has also been HOT so that may be part of it. I also made a mistake in the lace yoke of my Salty Air Tee and am a little frustrated. Using Tynne Line which has not been easy to knit with as I've found it very splitty. So not looking forward to ripping back😞I need my knit mojo back!

I'm confused . . . are you saying that with the Tate romper you are just tucking the top part inside to wear it as gingham pants? I'm going to check out that pattern and the yarn shop where you bought that fabric. The pants go so unexpectedly nice with your gold raglan shirt that you made. Nicely done! I am new to your channel. I will definitely participate in TourdeFleece. I am spinning some Shetland yarns that will eventually become a shawl

Lol people up here retire and become "snow birds" -- you're gonna do the opposite! 😂 Also I LOVE the length on that Tate Romper - I'm 5'9" and it is so hard to find pants that have that length. Can I ask what inseam length you did? I think I want to make the romper at some point too!

When I cut out the pattern I added 2 inches on the bottom I will measure the total inseam

What is the Tour De Fleece? Just bought a second hand Ashford Traveller. Also I loved the Thursday Night Murder Club.

Didn’t see the link to the Traveler’s Blanket, but tried the code SUMMERTIME after searching Ravelry and couldn’t get it to work. Newly postpartum so a simple garter blanket feels perfect. Am I missing something? Thanks for the help

@@YoungfolkKnits thank you. I typically default to neutrals but this look is good, specially for this summer season.
