Today we're learning about prepositions of place in Levantine Arabic! We'll also have some bonus commonly used prepositions in the second half of the video. If you'd like a summary of all the prepositions, skip to the very end.
Prepositions in Levantine Arabic are words that link nouns, pronouns, and phrases to other words in a sentence, showing relationships of time, place, direction, and more.
We'll also briefly discuss prepositional phrases and see an example.

Ahlan, at 4:29, could you have also said in colloquial: المحاضرة عند الجامعة؟ shukran ala al fidiu

Yes that still makes sense, but it would be more common to hear that sentence with "في". The preposition "عند" will commonly be used for specific locations, so if you're referring to a specific college for instance: المحاضرة عند الجامعة الأمريكية. "The lecture is at the American University".
