Thank you for your videos , they are very informative. Thank you for the help. A little related. hopefully I can get an answer. If am filing an I 134 and the petitioner is paying alimony and child support. Does it need to be listed on Page 6 of the application? the dependent I can understand but it also says anyone that you financially support. Am positive both need to be listed and the yearly contribution amount. does that number get deducted from the yearly summary? that way it shows that you meet the poverty line threshold? am no expert in the matter and a USCIS mistake on the form can delay the process. Just trying to find out to make sure.

If yes, which are the illnesses or diseases that can cause the case to be rejected? I heard about a green paper prior to the start of the interview? Supposedly, even before you start the interview, the consulate officer has already decided whether to approve or request a second interview, even if all evidence is present. It's shitty, because I see it as a bias. I'm flying to Vietnam to be with my fiancé and took 7 days off work, if there is a second interview, I would then have to return to the USA and come back again the next month. I know I do not need to be there, but it helps our case a lot to be present

My son (US) is planning a wedding ceremony with his fiancé (BOGOTA) in August. They probably won’t have the visa yet and it will be a wedding in name only. No papers will be filed so it will not be a legal marriage. If she is asked about planning a wedding or if they are married how does she respond? Obviously, she doesn’t want to appear to be lying. Once in the US they will have a very small ceremony to make it official and maybe an open house/party at a later date.

Hi what if the embassy send your k1 packet late and it hinders the time of collecting and completing all necessary documents and task to be done before the date of the interview and before the USCIS approval notice expires does it hinders their decision on the day of the interview ? Yes, you should have the intention to be married within 90 days of your fiancée entering the U.S. Once an interview date is scheduled for your fiancée, you can make general marriage plans such as finding a location, having a list of family and friends who will be present, etc.

What if your fiancé who is the beneficiary doesn’t speak English fluently yet? Is the interview in their country going to be held at an US embassy in English? Or will there be a translator for French?

The K-1 visa application requires a signature but it does not require a wet signature. This means that it can be a photocopy of the signature.

I’m Canadian living in Montreal and my girlfriend is American living in Vermont. I’ve been going down to Vermont I would say 4 out of 5 weekends since the border reopened after COVID. You think I need to know the exact number of times I’ve been down to the U.S.? It’s almost impossible for me to know. I would say it’s about give or take 10 days a month since November 2021.

Thank you very much for that info. I pulled it out, I came down 60 times in the last 17 months. Once by place when the border was closed and since the border reopened, 59 times by car. That’s a lot lol. I should be ok. Thanks again for your help, it is much appreciated.
