2:00 I called it the minute I saw that big-ass coat! Too reminiscent of Lenny on _Good Times_ who always stashed all those goods in his jacket as a kind of display case.

Her argument that you can't prove she didn't buy it here is exactly the opposite of my approach to ever bringing food with me. If I bring any food, it's healthier food than they serve, and I figure if I ever get questioned about it I can ask them to show me where I had the option to buy grapes and cashews.

@tejaswoman exactly! When losing weight a (self-confessed cheap b#*$%&d of a) colleague teased me for taking a mini peopermint patty for dessert. I said that if the restaurant had one that was 50-100 calories, Id happily buy it. Otherwise, I was nibbling at that sucker while he ate cannoli!

My white mom was always the one with the big purse who brought in snacks from home so we didn't have to pay for the concessions. I used to be so embarrassed! And now that my parents are hard of hearing, I spend half the movie telling them the plot and what people are saying.

I am not Latino and not American, but my mother used to watch a lot of Latin American Tv novelas, which means that I can understand a little of the cultural references, and that makes me a big fan of you Jenny! I love what you do, it always makes my day.
