I’m just the average father, reviewing the Sig Sauer P365 XMacro with a Holosun 507k sight. Additionally, we’re taking a look at the Streamlight TLR7-sub 1913, T-Rex holster with the side car 2.0 and the Alien Gear Photon IWB setup. Lastly, taking a look at the NEXBELT for concealed carry!

I own three X-MACRO variants. The X-MACRO Comp, the TACOPS, and the AXG Legion. Each one is nearing 1200 rounds if mixed ammunition. I haven’t had one issue at all with ammo, mags, or the firearms. I have been carrying the Legion for three months. Top notch.

Im glad to see youre ising an aliengear. I was worried it might not be adequate, but ill be dammed if it doesn't work fine anyway. 20 years ago this tec would have not existed

I carry a Canik Mete Mc9 everyday in the appendix carry position. The holster I have is called the JX Tactical Fat Guy holster. Sits lower in the pants with different clip options as well as adjustable ride height. Highly recommend because I can carry in gym shorts and I don't print at all. I have more of a gut than you and I am comfortable all day. You should really look into them. I carry appendix a little to the left side maybe around the 1:30-2 o'clock position and it doesn't dig into my leg at all.

I switched from Trex side car to Tier 1 axis elite because it has more holes for ride height and better wing on tier 1 and better conceal

The 507k does have an auto adjust brightness mode, but I haven’t ever used it on mine so I don’t know how well it works.

I will have to look into that, I don’t know how it would sense ambient light.

Oh yeah, it might only be the 507c and not the 507k because the 507c has a solar panel on top.

Nice video from one average dad to another! I’m shocked you don’t like the T. rex. You can adjust the retention on it. Mine disappears and I feel is super comfy with a small wedge. Wedge is key for appendix comfort and extra concealment. I also have a tier 1 for my g 19. It makes it invisible in a tight t shirt and shorts! With the hunter Constantine edc s belt (best belt ever made). I will only run tier 1 or T. rex.

Check out LOD sidecar holster. Its has one clip and is about half the size. My favorite holster.

I didn’t want the comp version either but I did go tacops for the extra mags, extended slide catch and mag well. I also went 407k because I like the 6moa for cc

That’s great! I have to say I like the big circle and dot for cc. You should check it out sometime. A bit easier to pick up for up close.

I’m HIGHLY interested in buying this gun but… my only concern is rust issues that I have came across on KZfaq on the macro but I noticed the people who are experiencing rust are the ones that have the comp. Are you having any rust issues on the slide or on any of the internals?

I haven’t had the gun long enough for it to develop rust I suppose. I’ve had it for about 3 months. I’ll make a video on the rust issue soon. Thanks for watching and good luck.

I've had my x-macro since it released and have used it inside and outside quite a bit. I have never had any rusting issues with it, but I am pretty fastidious about cleaning, so, if you clean and oil regularly you shouldn't experience any oxidation at all. I use Ballistol Oil.

Nice video brother. I cant say i have a dad bod since im a fairly skinny dude. My uncle whos got a similar body type like yours carries a. tier 1 concealed holster and it prints little to none. i also have a tier 1 holster and dont have any complaints. im 5'11 160 and i carry a glock 19 with a surfire light and it doesnt print at all really. just a suggestion. hope this helps.

The TLR 7x Not fitting on that was definitely user error 😂 That's the light I run on mine And it's that exact weapon. It even comes with plates to account for sizing of different weapons.And there's a Little booklet in the box that tells you which one to use best. You don't need to use one at all for it to fit perfectly on that one, though.So yeah user error 😂

Thanks for the feedback, but that’s simply not true. The 1913 version is needed for the 1913 rail. The 7x will fit the other P365 however.

Dissent video.. Not hating but a couple things... Carrying is supposed conforting not comfortable, and you can dress around your tool.. like I don't like printing period and I carry appendix . I mostly wear button up shirts.. but when real hot days come it's a t shirts. But not the thin ones. I have a 365 as well the comp version and haven't had the problem with flash or smoke blow up in my face when training close retention.. and as for the light. Try moving it out , it has adjustments . And like you i have a holster for no light carry. it just makes sense to have options.
