I’ve got to add an “AMEN” to using Utrecht professional gesso - holy cow! What a difference! Some day, I’d love to read a book you write about your life! (hint hint)

Dave, you crack me up! Patient, monotonal answers to basic questions about things that make so little difference! 🤣 When you get some time, I’d love more on things like value, contrast, composition, illusions of depth, texture, etc. I’m a beginner (8 months) in watercolor. I’ve learned a great deal from your discussions of color and value. I love your down to earth practicality! 🎨🖌👍🌟
