Thank you Francis - in truth I do not like ths tune. Once, when I played in a cabaret band I loathed having to play this song night after night. However, Ted's plaintive rendition as a solo piece makes the melody a soulful piece. Perhaps Elton should become a symphony composer instead of pop ditties.

Nice to see a Ted Greene transcription that you can actually follow and play! I think Green's chord diagrams and written examples in his books are the WORST! The guy was a fine guitar player but his way of writing in his books is just flyspecks on paper and a waste of time to try and figure out.
