Since the A77 released in August, there's been a lot of excitement and a lot of questions. We even set up a special topic on our Sony Camera Club on Flickr. We had a chance to work with the Sony Camera Team to answer a lot of these questions and even the SGNL team made a special video to help out. Check out the video for details.

What do you export the footage to to use it on final cut pro? .mov, ts or mpeg4? What is the best?

@CandyHam It comes down to design budget and choices. The D7000 has 2 SD card slots, but it's maximum continuous shooting is only 6 fps. The A77 has 12 fps. You have to decide which set of features that is more important to you and then buy the matching camera. Both the A77 and the D7000 are of comparable quality and price class. You can't go wrong with either one.

my pis seem to be dark out side. why? and how can i change this

you probably open wide up aperture like F2.8 with the 1650mm F2.8 lens. try shooting at F8. the image will look sharper

I agree with the A77 you get ALLOT for your money allot more then then.. well you expect. But it isn't a $2000 model so that does limits what it can offer. There is only so far you can stretch things. It is nice to see some pro camera functions show up in a camera in such a good price.

manual audio !! please it would be such a big upgrade for the next firmware update ... and no crop in movie mode and a better white balance would be awesome

its not true that that is the only vertical grip! go on amazon and type in sony a 77 grip there is a great one for $68

Not true about the memory cards I own the A380 and A77 and my A380 was 700$ and has teo memory card slots and I can choose one or the other at any time!

also, your dual memory card reason is not accurate... my a550 has two card slots, and it's is of a lower class then the a77

I think for the price people are expecting too much. Wait until the A99 comes out.

Please Sony! Focus on your Alpha lens' now! I'd love to see something with F1.2 or maybe a pancake lens.

Nikon's D7000 has two SD card slots. And it is under $1400.
