Looks more like a movie shoot than an interdiction raid. I thought the helicopter was going to crash from the headline. That's what "Navy SEALS Helicopter Down" means to me.

WOW! Very impressed. Imagine sliding down a rope onto a boat that is sitting in calm water and not firing at you. Why its almost as exciting as a slip and slide. As a helicopter pilot since I was a kid I give this maneuver a solid one star.

@@YourSaltwaterGuide First motorcycle at 10. Private pilot at 15, gyro builder and pilot at 21 and at 25 added a UH12c helicopter rating. Im 60 now and spend more time on my boat but yea I am one of those guys that can fly the box it came in. Hell I even joined the 2000 ft high club in a 177 with only a 2 axis autopilot and a BJ in a helicopter with no throttle/collective correlation. You have to admit that was a pretty pathetic display. It would have been better if someone would have done a high dive or used a chute off the skids to land on the boat. I don't really expect much from this WOKE military but this was really lame.

I was going to say the same thing...those may be seals but that pilot isnt a seal...he's a nightstalker...some of the most highly trained and experienced heli pilots in the world...they also fly those little birds for delta force like in the movie blackhawk down. They are kinda the air version of SWICC crews on water...both groups of total badasses lol

I kept thinking the helicopter was going to crash based on the title. Perhaps it needs to be "US Navy SEALS rappel down from helicopter to boat" for a more accurate summation of the content. As it stands it's somewhat false advertising.

No...in actual combat that would have been a little bird with a .50 cal and a mini gun as well as rockets...and if they had taken fire ahead of the seals heli they would have cleared the decks with a mini gun then dropped the seals in to mop up. Look up the Nightstalkers on youtube as well as the little bird.

The helicopter looks very vulnerable...if the boat crew was desperate they would fire first and try to prevent the Seal members from landing on the boat

I'm won't offer an opinion of this. I'd rather this umm, early stage of skills development be kept out of the publics eye. It's better that adversaries overestimate our capabilities (think of Russia) than the other way around. Nice work from the pilot though. Still shouldn't be in a marina full o people who didn't sign a waiver. :) or maybe they did idk.
