YouTube Ads Explained - Unhappy subscribers.

I recently received a very angry comment from a subscriber who was not at all happy. I normally adopt a policy of not engaging with angry comments, however on this occasion I will make an exception to clear something up.
I will also explain why I am currently grounded after I had some trouble starting my Engine.

I watch/listen to KZfaq at work, many hours a day. I'm therefore happy to pay the monthly subscription to be advert free.

Hi Paul, I think that the comment made was a frustration thing against KZfaq and the adds rather than a personal attack on you so let it pass over you. Your doing exceptionally well , presentation content etc all good and your down to earth attitude and humour completes the viewing experience for me so keep it up. Your mate Giles also makes a good video though I prefer to watch yours , he spoils his in my opinion with his silly whoo whoos and his cringingly childish outbursts and his over excitable mood when amongst company, and he calls people budd ( we not American are we ) bit annoying! Sorry bit negative but honest, you keep doing what you do because you do it well.

Thankyou for your feedback glad you enjoy my stuff. We all have our own individual tastes and likes. Personally, it was Gile’s infectious love of flying that drew me and many others to his channel. But we all see things differently. 👍

Facts, 20% of people will love everything you do, 20% wouldn’t pee on you if you were on fire, 60% couldn’t care one way or the other. Love the stuff you do mate, well thought out, well filmed and edited and given how new you are to this great standard!

Your channel is underrated, like many aviation related chanel's, you can't compare to chanel's that have much more general content.

Thank you for your kind words. I know microlight flying is a very small niche so I don’t think I would ever earn anything from KZfaq but that’s not my aim. I just love the process of filming and sharing flying videos. If anyone else wants to watch then even better. 👍

Hi Simon. Bit of a slog isn't it?? Nothing fancy with the cameras, I just use GoPros and I have 2 Hero 9 cameras and just have a couple of cheap lights for filming inside. I was toying with the idea buying a separate camera for indoor/studio filming but to be honest I think the GoPro's do a decent enough job.

If people don't know how to get rid of ads, whether on desktop or mobile, more fool them. I'm on android mobile, I don't get youtube inserted ads. The app I use even skips sponsored promotions withing the videos by the content creator, self promotion, "annoying reminders" and filler content. It's even better than youtube premium and it costs me nothing.

I didn't see one add on this video. The first add I see, I will unsubscribe from everyone on that side of the pond - even GF and Mark, and Ben, etc. I will delete KZfaq from my phone and computer and then burn them both. It's totally unacceptable for people to make money by advertising. LMAO! JK. You guys have fun over there.
