I'm so glad I'm earning my pension and investments the traditional way for a stable income when I move to the Philippines in 7 years. I'm not going to worry about money. KZfaqrs who need to earn passive income by bashing one another on their KZfaq channels are pathetic. Maybe if they saved enough in their working years, they wouldn't have to stoop to such a low level.

After living here five years and visiting every single city and province, the one piece of advice I can give to any foreigner or Vlogger is watch what you say or do. It doesn’t matter if you’re in San Carlos, Dumaguete Leyte or Angeles City …for as little as 5K someone upset with you can have you or your family dealt with and no witnesses. All foreigners seem to think their money or the PNP or bureau immigration can protect them, and they couldn’t be more wrong. Two males wearing helmets on a unregistered scooter can end you, and disappear into the province. Just because it doesn’t make the news doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen here. It’s wrote off as a robbery gone wrong.

Been here 13 yrs..you're right..I agree As a matter of basic self preservation one really needs to understand that shows of emotion especially anger..aren't accepted in the same way they are in the west.. Were taught to express and let it go.. Here it can be taken VERY personally and very seriously..and result in extreme retaliation. I won't count the numerous incidents I've heard of or seen the aftermath of in person.. dead by black clad motorcycle assassins, or by the very hand of the person who was offended

I have seen it over and over, a KZfaqr will gain popularity and it goes straight to their head. These people turn into Flaming Narcissists and think they can walk on water. Do KZfaqrs realize they are making themself vunerable, by being Arrogant Narcissists. Someone may decide they need an attitude adjustment..

What is sad to me and a blessing is all the people saying they are his friends and supporting he's delusion narratives.. Today Someone pointed me to Antics Channel to see the "fight".. I never found it, but I did see a clip of Philly being a total Jackmule and not even knowing it.. Even wearing his glasses inside his own shine seems to blind him.. My blessing is I have surrounded myself with people who will always call me a fool when I act a fool and I love them for it!

I’m a 60/40, American/Pinas retiree . I’ve been watching KZfaq going on 15 years now. I’ve seen the shiite hitting the fan before, but I agree, the stakes are higher these days! A large part of why I’m not full time in the States anymore, is because I am tired of drama and B.S., 24/7! While I remain a fan of Brian( Philly), I have no interest in any drama! My only concern is what impression(s) this craziness has on Filipinos, and any negative consequences for American Expats that result from those impressions! Boy, do I miss Bud Brown’s Philippine vlog….

Quite awhile back there was a video of Ace cordially approaching Philly at Tequila Reef and Philly was plain ass rude. They both started firing at each other after that. Some of it was actually funny. But, I have to say Ace did cross a line he shouldn’t have! They can poke at each other all they want, but you can’t go after family members.

Ever since Brian announced they were moving out of AC, the perceived vacuum Ace thought it would create was a very opportune time for him to ascend up the throne that Brian would abdicate. His overzealousness could not have him wait. His content can be so demeaning to many Filipinas which goes beyond his comprehension that he doesn’t realize will be impactful to his daughter who just so happens to be half…Filipina!

Same sort of business practices happen in Korea all the time. A club will get popped for some illegal activities and shut the doors. Then a few weeks later new faces are put in place and they reopen. Everyone knows what goes on in those clubs, but when it hits the news something has to be done. I doubt anything is going to change anytime soon. Money talk.

Not a fan at all of YT drama, Expat drama, or drama in general. As a pretty well adjusted and reasonably mannered person, I find it very off putting. By no means am I sitting here clutching my pearls, but I do react. I no longer follow or watch ACE. I see him as the instigator in that situation. Antics grew old for me. They are upfront with what they do, so those that tune in know what they are in for. YT magnifies the decline of society as a whole. Online, geopolitically, and cities all over the globe are powder kegs. Not sure it will come to a head but I suspect we are in for some kind of treat come November. I’m old enough and have enjoyed life enough already. I sit back and watch the 💩 show and laugh. What a wonderful time to be alive… watching the escalating decline of Civilization.

You are wrong and I will tell you why. When you make up your mind to land in the Philippines or Cleveland for that matter you are going to turn on Google maps. In that same way when you rent an apartment, rent a hotel room...you are going to consult a reliable source before putting your money down. I pay You Tube each month to view their products. I do not watch commercials. I do not think that anyone and I mean anyone flies across the International Date Line to lose a day of his or her life to the setting sun does so based on the information the two plugalists on Waking Street provide. Talking smack to each other is fine, but when the families got into it, that wasn't okay. Personally that's where I draw the line. Say what you want about me or the things I do but don't bring my family into it. I give a warning once, after that it's 100% on the offender where it goes. Here in the Philippines I stay hands off personally. I wouldn't want to upset my wifes family though, they are a little scary and have a long reach.

Mike, I never heard of either of these guys before your video. Of course, I had to find them to see what you were talking about. I can’t think of any other 1/2 hour period of my life that was so frivolously wasted. Why anybody would want to waste their time listening to either of them blabber on about absolutely nothing is beyond me. I haven't seen the video of the confrintation between Brian and ACE. I have met Brian once and he always seems to be a calm and laid-back kinda guy. The few videos of ACE that I have watched, he seems to be a narssictic type of guy. I may watch it if it comes up on my feed.

I will pass every time on a video like this. If I can't watch a video and become a better person or learn something, then I will pass on that channel. I have lived in Angeles for over 20 years now. I ran across this video by accident, I used to watch Philly for a while but got bored by his lack of research and ignorance on what he was covering. I have never watched Ace. Everybody is entitled to their opinion about Angeles but, just like any place in the world, there are a variety of lifestyles which people are suited to. I think that the majority of residents in Angeles are unaware of these guys' antics and, if they are aware, would only merit a passing comment in conversation. Just hope they wont cross the guys at Police Station 4. Stop this animosity guys, you are not the center of attention for expats in Angeles City.

Mike, I always assumed that Ace and Philly know that their audience is mainly abroad and you get the most views by mentioning Walking Street or something dramatic in the title to get those chick bait and views. It is not just ego, although youtube does a good job of turning average guys into reality TV stars, I think that they might start to rely on the income and need to attract views.

Clearly, he violated the cyberbullying laws of the Philippines. " That being said "there is never a reason for fighting between 2 grown men. Instead, do what Phillie`s wife did which was to hand it over to her lawyer. I can pay attention to a little drama, but not much. I watched AceCool yesterday for the first time. Not sure if he has had some head trauma or something but if he is having fun then great for him. I am leaving the USA with my wife of 22 years in two weeks and arriving in San Nicolas Near Laoag where we are building a house. As for videos, informational or stuff that makes me laugh is my favorites stuff.

I do NOT do Drama, that's why you don't see it in my channel. BUT, I do understand Drama creates views and brings attention, that's why many of these people do it, is it good, or bad? I think is not worth it. Now, there is a difference between banter and drama, drama is never worth the stress. Also, some expats in Angeles City, really believe they are gangsters, ex Navy SEALS, etc... and then some of those folks get on youtube, and the little fame they got from youtube gets in their heads, and they believe they are untouchable and they disrespect people left and right. It is sad seeing men in their 50s acting like this.

LOL The drama is just to get subs, , All the you tubers will all line up to be the first to post about it, There are two different vloggers, some sit behind a camera and give there take on the situation instead on seeing it first hand, Others are out in the public showing places of interest and traveling information. When it comes down to it, ACE is just a tourist. You make rude remarks to a Filipino Citizen you are gone. There is plenty of evidence of ACE demeaning the locals so it will be relatively easy to deport him. Philly has a 13A visa (?) and is married so he is not going anywhere. There comes a time in which the juice is not worth the squeeze. Every time I open YT I see new content creators with 1k subs. It is just a matter of when YT will drastically cut the revenue that they pay out per click. The future for creators who use YT as a primary income steam looks grim. You will never out run the supply vs demand curves. There is a demand for creators but the supply keeps growing and growing hence the pay will drop like a rock. These dudes are going to find themselves getting their jockeys in a wad over chump change.

If ACE or Philly get there panties in a bunch and get all chapped up about it, then it is there problem. You kind of mixed two things the Korean/Viking Bar problem and the ACE/Philly feud. Do not think they are connected IMHO. Might want to get ACE and Philly to do a charity boxing match. That way they can get it out of there systems and actually benefit the charity.

It used to be you actually has to get off your posterior and show people what the philippines is truly like. Now we have armchair bloggers feeding off each other like vampires for lazy content. Subscribers are going to get tired of the drama and unsubscibe to these channels. We want useful information that is going to help us acclimate to the philippines whether it be the laws or the culture. Perhaps going to the mountains or the beaches and being descriptive about what you are seeing and experiencing. This is what the Subscribers are interested in and not all this crap that we really don't give a dam about. They talk about dramagety and it being epstien Island but Angeles city is becoming a toilet even though we know that walking street is just a very small part of the city . I would like to know more about the hospital renovation into the museum or maybe Clark international Airport and ease of use . They have a new train that's going to be running out to subic bay from Angeles city and another running down to Manila from what I heard. It's things like this that we want to here about because it makes a difference in our decision on where we want to be. Things that are happening out in the west philippines sea and what the philippines is doing about it as politics is important even though we aren't directly involved in it .

@ourphilippinejourney Hey Mike, what I'm getting at is that the people who are watching bloggers from outside of the philippines are looking for information that will help them acclimate or make the decision to even come over. You're obviously doing things the way you see fit, and that's fine. I know that you have common sense and are way above all this drama going on there on walking street, and I definitely know that there is much more to the philippines than the bars . I guess it all depends on what road you want to take your channel down, and only you can make that decision. I'm just expressing a different point of view and perhaps food for thought.
