i almost feel bad, almost. She must have been shunned in a way that caused her to begin thinking that she is not worthwhile, so nobody in the lgbtq+ community is. I know how that feels, but I am lucky i found great support and am now proud to be who I am!

The word ‘homosexual’ was never in the original Bible. In the original Greek and Hebrew texts, the word that is now translated to ‘homosexual’ actually accurately translates to ‘pedophile; or ‘boy abuser’ or ‘boy molester.’ That is, according to the bible, homosexuality is NOT a sin. The more scary thing is those people hating media, not for the fact that they feel it portrays them wrong (hard to portray that group any worse than they already are...) but for the fact that what they do, can be recorded or photographed and land them in jail. More scary is that they seemingly don't realize that without free press, they can also end up in jail if government simply wants to. I'm European and I've traveled to America before. America has some beautiful cities and rural parts, but I'm not joking when I say a lot of what I saw was not that of a developed country. This was especially present in Oregon, even downtown there were homeless everywhere in tents, people were obese, people were dressed in tattered pajamas, infrastructure was old (not in a good way) and looked as if it would fall apart, roads were filled with potholes and there were not enough proper traffic lines lights or anything really. All in all, places like Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and D.C were beautiful as well as some beautiful rural spots, but the rest of the country was Just awful. I'm truly sorry for some of the pain many of you that aren't so fortunate must be going through.

A lot of these rallies I find more depressing than anger inducing. Because statistically, most of the people there will die alone and unloved. Hate isn't quenched when you accomplish your goal, it moves onto the next group. They have their little group, but those people will either get their lives together or lose interest when the heat from their community becomes too much

I don't think you should ever boil a porpoise. They are a lot tastier when grilled. And I don't see why you would need to boil one to get married. The whole point of LGBTQ+ _(and sometimes "Y")_ rights is so anyone can get married. I am vegan and I don't want to boil anything if I want to get married. But these guys aren't as smart as me. @Sine Nomine those are anarchists, not protesters. There's people who use the blm movement to justify crime. Just like how you justify hatred with god. Also, blm is for justice towards hundred thousands and millions of pocs being stripped of their rights. You say your native land is Africa yet you're against the movement for your own people.

Tbh I'm happy about seeing something like this. It means they at least faces some form of empathetic retribution on account of the circumstances they actively participate in. Until someone changes willingly they'll get no sympathy from me.

@@sakura9959 i can understand and, to a certain degree, appreciate the point of view of folks that can and do empathize with someone lime that;however, I never will. This circumstance, much like life, is not about winning, at least in my understanding, it is entirely about consequences. Why would I feel sorry for someone who would willingly erase my existence for no other reason than blind adherence to an archaic tradition. That said, I am just some rando venting frustrations on the internet so maybe my opinion in this instance might not be the most 'objective'.
