Yes that's right, I also love the fact that there are finally decent lights, you can actually work with on a professional set without having to buying or renting expensive Arri lights.

I just recently purchased a Fiveray MC20c Combo and I really liked the product. I think it's a brilliant and innovative tool. But there is one big technical issue that needs to be addressed: I'm just coming from a shoot, with long interview sessions and used the Fiveray as a ultra compact kicker/ rim light. I had it attached to a V-Mount and later with direct power via USB-C. Unfortunately it ran out of battery (despite the power supply) and I wasn't able to use it for the last 3rd of our shooting - which is really a deal breaker for me! Any chance to get a firmware update? Or do I have a faulty unit?

great video Max! i sometimes do interviews on construction sites and was thinking if you maybe had some recommendations for no-hassle, smaller size lights for that kind of environment?

You: no lights looks like a full worse image. Me: I like the no light image better. Made me focus on you as the speaker. Also I had to really look to tell the difference between the image without the hairline light from the back. Not sure how many people would notice without being told.

Of course, it's also a matter of taste, as you say! But usually its the goal to create an image that looks good but doesn't look unnatural. It's just the standard that you normally do.

as someone who bought this light for the use in interview situations let me say: DONT BUY IT IF AUDIO IS IMPORTANT TO YOU! its way too loud. light has three modes: 100% --> very loud fan (but very bright light to be fair). 50% still to loud to be within 2-3m next to talent, light is average bright. "silent mode" --> its silent, light is bright like every other 5-8W LED light. the Bi-Color version does NOT have a bluetooth app support. so if you need a very small light that has the output of 20W and audio doesn't matter, give it a try, for stuff where audio is important, hands off.

I would never buy a light with no mounting points. Who designs stuff like this; got to be people who never use it.

Yeah, I mean it's a great light but it would be even better, if the included some threats. Sure, you could use it for handheld shots or as a practical, but yea, it would be even better, if there were some mounting points.

The worst light I've ever tested, at 20% power the fan makes already a deafening noise, practically unusable for my videos. It's a shame because the underlying idea was very, very interesting.

Copy/Paste KZfaqr talks about new product and how it'll be the new game changer or how everyone will use it... this is the "film" youtube everyone hates right now and asking for change. STOP contributing to it, you aren't gonna be using this nor will it be suddenly change your currently studio light set up 🤡
