I think I managed to figure the game out by watching this duel. It seems like a really fun strategy-type custom ruleset. Would love to see this take off!

I am more confuse on how some monsters were summoned without the need for synchro or fusion summoning

@@roberthaggerty8887 I understand this much: monsters like Stardust or Utopia start off as normal monsters which you gradually upgrade. I guess it's for balance purposes, but I feel like protag and rival ace card effects generally aren't that strong (aside from pre-errata Firewall Dragon).

in higher play, it's not that easy. sure speed ability can do so but then some players usually bring immobilize or phantom ability which can make 1st turn direct attack is impossible. Finally, you can just simply put strong defensive cards because most speed ability cards dont have pierce or provoke mostly

So your just able to summon 3 monsters right out the gates? I understand since it's a 3-3 border but still doesn't sit right with me.

It’s currently not available worldwide but if you have an android you can follow these steps 1. Go to protonvpn.com/download (create a free account and download the software) 2. Login to your account via the Protonvpn app 3. Select the free location Netherlands and click quick connect or connect. 4. Now go to GMAIL to create a new account and use Translate if you cannot read Dutch. (Make sure on phone settings to leave blank and instead use recovery email) 5. Now go to Google Play on device and sign into newly created account and search for "cross duels" then find the game listed. 6. If you see the install button show up turn off the VPN until install is complete to speed up the process, once that is done turn it back on before you open the app. 7. Enjoy the game and have fun!
