Listen this set is fine composition wise if you ignore the price, but unfortunately the price exists. The set just feels like a high rarity Battles of Legend set.

As someone who bought 3 boxes of rarity collection 1, i find this hard to swallow, mainly due to the price per box. yes, i know there are more cards per pack, but it's just a big initial investment, i've seen single packs for £10.....ouch!

This is the best take I have seen. Also, those Blue-Eyes aren't whatever imo. They are needed. There is no reason a bad deck that is causals/anime fans to be 200-300 USD because of Bingo Machine, Jet and Alternative. Same reason the Magician Soul Reprint is good.

Aluber in here over Mirrorjade or branded fusion is so brain dead. It’s had a million printings. Ultra, prismatic secret, regular secret, ulti. Mirrorjade is literally just play the starter deck ultra or spend $400 to play the starlight.

As a despian branded player and someone who likes dark Magician I love this set

The Blue-Eyes and Dark Magician and Yugi stuff being in the set is good, it gives the Yugiboomers a reason to go ham, because let's not kid ourselves that there's a large population of people who see Yugi and Kaiba cards and then nut

The more I look at the set list, the more I realize how good it is.

Funny how RC01 was a banger because it was a reprint set that the TCG just copied card for card (minus Maxx "C") from the OCG. Then the TCG tries to do it on its own (since there was no "Rarity Collection II" in the OCG) and people react this way lol Ryko/Hamster/Charge is also very commonly played engine in Edison, so hats of the TCG for giving past formats some love in this set; I did really appreciate them doing that.

I’m conflicted on this set, on the one hand, I think for the standards of a TCG reprint set it’s phenomenal. Gets us all the planets. great staples in droll, judgement, mourner, strike, cross out, and a myriad of others. Sure it’s missing some stuff like Fenrir and the kashtira, but also this sets really really solid. The biggest problem is the price per box. 140$ is just insane, and will cause less people to open the box, making the cards more exspensive

For me it`s solely about the price per box. The reprints per se are fine, but not for 150€ per box. It`s just a ripoff. Where are Kashtira Fenrir, Chaos Angel, Trident Dragion and others? It was obvious that AGOV isn`t included here, but there would be so SO many more infinitely better options than a MST or Sol and Luna here.

If it would be difficult to do better than the Rarity 1, why they increase the price ?! It's so illogic... And some cards was waiting here (Thrust, Fenrir, Chaos Angel, Dis Patter, BystialS, Queem or Granguignol, etc), but they are not presents... Nothing justify the price of the product, the most expensive ones going to be Masquerena, Apollousa and Accesscode, but some good cards missing

A lot of people are looking at RC1 with rose colored glasses. Please go look at the amount of duds in RC1. This set may not have an Ash or an Imperm, but its valued is spread around more evenly. Also, don't forgets, these Platinum rares are much more desirable, bringing up the value of any of those cards you pull.

Yeah I'm not a fan of even the singles prices. I pre-ordered the Purrely stuff but. Maybe some of them will go down but its not enough cheaper to make me feel its worth it to preorder some of these staples. Edit: I love floo but yeah Shifter and Feather storm are cancer and I fully understand hating those card's and because of them hating floo.

When people realize they want qcrs of the cards in this set, they're going to finally realize "Oh wait...actually..." then the set is out of print and the card is way up. People forget how these cards go in and out of formats. People are delusional if they think Konami's going to make a set with nothing but the best cards in the game currently at a pack pull rate that guarantees you'll get multiple copies of these cards

Yeah konami hates secondary market 1000% i can understand reprinting there bread and butter blue eyes, DM classic cards including new sets to make meta stuff available to play and make money but retro pack? would've been nice to make a Duel Devastator type deck using only rarity collection 1 & 2 cards to have everything in the same rarity for funsies and to give to new/returning duelists, but not including super poly with garura/drago/mud dragon and fenrir to go with the planet dashed that fun experiment

So many different things that can't be in the tins are needed. CYBER STORM ACCESS (DIS PATER CHAOS ANGEL, superheavy) all won't be in the tins. This set would've been gold but it wasn't? And you are just using oh the first day was toooo goood. No, this set just sucks and could've lived up to the hype.

It's the price for what you are getting is why it's awful. If it was the same price as rc01 than I would be perfectly fine with the set.

Meh. Not sure how I feel about it yet. RC1 is a million times better but I’m glad some staples in rc2 got reprints because there are some cards that genuinely needed it or at least rarity upgrades for cards with small numbers of prints

Yeah the players who don’t play edison or any retro will look at this and complain. But there is a lot of good reprints in this set for retro. And you’re getting a lot of foils per pack so the price makes sense.

All the more reason why I haven't bought irl cards since 2022. I just stick with online.

The set is not good when you know how much it cost that’s we people are saying that. Also it definitely could have lived up to 1 theirs so many cards they could have added to this. Instead haveing Trish tg librarian even the despia card they could have but cards like fenrir

The set is just extremely mid imo. No reason to even buy any packs other than to support LGS's. Of course singles are cheaper, but at least with RC1 I felt happy with nearly every pack and that made it worth it. I've watched several box openings and have seen maybe 4 or 5 packs that looked kind of neat. Nobody at my LGS wants it anymore either which sucks for the shop too. Idk. Not even upset about it anymore though, just disappointed lol

The set is pretty mid for me personally as I have at least 80% of the staples or generic cards there, at least in low rarity but I have them and the rest I do not have the interest to get them or get the ones I already have in a higher rarity. That's for me but I know many people will benefit from this still and probably in some point in the future this will be a banger like Duel Devastator was.

Way too much jank shit and random archetype cards. Rarity collcetion 1 was good because it was bold and reprinted strong cards that needed it. Rarity collection 2 is just a throw away TCG exclusive product. RC01 is probably a 9/10 set. RC02 is like a 6/10 set. You have to account for the price and 180 dollars MSRP for a product that only prints ancient cards and random archetype cards that should have already been cheap is bad.

Terrible set, makes me sell all my meta stuff that's worth before the prices tank because of this bs. Even the OG secrets gonna be hit by these reprints... Only good stuff is that I will pick up a quater Trish and DD Crow, everything else I have in its Og print.

This is decent imo. All the presale prices are cheaper. It's not as good as the first one, but I feel the next one will be way better. 1 amazing 1, ok then another amazing one.
