Correct, it will let you dodge any targeted effect on a lower chain aslong as there is a card on the field to pop

Interesting, but what's the 3rd Level 4 your playing to spawn those 2 from? It's doable but it fails if you draw any of the 1 ofs?

@InfernitBlu88 it's interesting, but seems a bit neice as you don't really want barong on the field and sadly you can't use the barrier statue as its pyro.

@@zephyrwargamesyugioh Offerings isnt once per turn and can hit non Fire King monsters, I play 3 copies currently and everytime I drew it it was amazing, yesterday I popped my own Garunix Xyz with it to OTK the opponent

@KikiCatMeow you can play less just nadir and max, it's the extra deck stuff that really helps as it let's you search ponix without using normal, you can also draw 1 with garura or ferigit and set up the winda lock if you really wanted to

@hectorortiz4076 you can add it in should you wish, personally I feel it could be hit and miss and would rather have the mix of 2 DH and 1 TT but that's just me.

I don't disagree, no one said that the Tri or dog engine don't add to it, but most people wanted to see a pure version so I worked within the remits of the request to make it as good as could be.

@@zephyrwargamesyugioh oh i respect it for sure i wasn't commenting in response to you, more for other commenters to have the info. The tri brigade stuff especially is cheap enough and accessible enough (the whole engine including extra deck monsters is less than $10) that a pure version is more often than not unnecessary. The only thing expensive that will make any version of these decks better (though not necessary) is Promethean Princess whos broken in any fire king deck, a small ash/poplar/flamberg/OSS package which is cheap as well, and things like Zeus & Typhon.

@rezzytheskyguy for sure, that's what makes FK so good. The idea with pure builds is to keep it simple for new or returning players (get 3 structures and learn the basics) then decide if you want control or combo from there you can upgrade/invest into Brigade or Tri and still have the ability to return to pure at no extra cost.

By what standard is pure fire king bad? You sound toxic, and your mentality is ruining this game. People like me played Fire Kings years before this new support, and the Snake Eyes cards existed because we actually liked the playstyle and appreciated the archetype without BS outside cards. Only now to be told our decks are bad by (no offense) toxic competitive players...the deck is totally fine and powerful, it's just NOT competitive and the mentality that any non meta deck is BAD is pushing the power creep in this game to an unsustainable level. This deck is FINE, and it's the broken meta cards that are the problem with this game. Not this deck!

@kal7rider780 I think the point they were trying to get across is its more so bad in comparison to what it could be with outside influence. No one is saying it's bad in an Unplayable and terrible sense, just that it could be improved with other engines to help it function and compete on a better scale. Way I see it, is FK is one the of best decks for variation and flexibility which allows it to be played in many different styles (pure, Tri, Dog, SE etc) It comes down to where you want to take the deck, how you want to play it and what your want to accomplish with the deck.
