Yuji Itadori is just your average freakishly athletic high schooler when his club, the occult club, encounters a powerful cursed object in the form of a finger in a box! Without caution, the group decides to remove the seal and take a closer look at the finger, when ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE, resulting in Yuji and new curse expert friend Fushiguro having to fight to save everyone. This leads to Yuji doing the unthinkable, and with what happens at the end of this episode, we can't WAIT to see what happens next!

@@grantlawrence4600 that’s very true I think you can draw a lot of parallels between the two but JJK in my opinion is just slightly darker/more mature and (to me) has a more interesting/complex story than Demon Slayer which they are already enjoying

JJK quickly became one of the most fun but emotionally distressing shows I’ve watched lately. All of the characters are so great, special shout-out to the strong female characters, and as an anime-only consumer who has had a lot of the manga chapters spoiled, we are NOT prepared for what is going to happen post-S1. What we got in E1 is only scratching the surface of an absolutely buck-wild story.

JJk is a great choice considering season 2 is coming out in a month or so. Also, it's a really good take on shounen in general, it's no surprise it's got to the popularity it has today. The anime elevates the story's twists and turns and the animation is just beautiful. Hope to see it on the channel, if not now, some day!

Jujutsu Kaisen feels like a breath of fresh air in shonen. The characters feel like they're genuinely themselves rather than just being there to fulfill a role. I hope season 2 comes in swinging just as hard if not more.

JJK has a phenomenal soundtrack. This show got me back into reading manga since i couldnt wait for season 2 after i finished season 1. This is definitely the one i hope yall end up watching

As a manga reader, I can confidently say that JJK is one of my favorite stories of all time. It has all the dark sides of AoT, interesting character philosophies, none of the chainsaw man gore, and beautiful art. You can’t go wrong with JJK

I think the gore gets worse later on in the series, but both chainsaw man and jjk are tied for my favorite current shonen jump series. Plus the latest chapter was amazing for jjk

Curses are very similar to Devils, the dog guy is similar to Aki and his Fox devil, same hair and attitude and simpage and whatnot, Gojo and Makima, the amount of fanart of those two together is crazy, I dunno how you’re missing the similarities. Plus others later on

@@lilshmet4167 agreed, though another reason they're often compared (and i don't really think this is necessarily bad) is that the authors are friends and fans of each other's work IRL (speaking as a big fan of both but someone who leans personally leans more toward chainsaw man) so some of the time we're probably literally seeing the mangakas take surface-level similar ideas to deliberately use them for a different vibe and different themes tbh i've actually always thought that was a really cool thing about them both, with the context of the mangakas being friends and mutual fans especially

I would definitely recommend this series for you guys to watch. It has an amazing cast with intricate story one of the best power system in anime and practically no fan service. Not to mention season 2 is around the corner. This show also treats the female cast great (something that is sadly lacking in many anime). Hope y'all pick this show

This is an incredible Anime. I am usually not fond of you guys reacting to unfinished Series because there are so many good finished Animes. But this one, with Season 2 incoming and the movie that you could react to, has a lot of content for a few months. This anime is beautiful, go for it.

JJK is really good and the manga right now is freaking bonkers. Cant wait for season 2 cause anime only people are simply not ready for whats about to happen. I have a couple coworkers who are anime only and ive told them the same thing

I'll honestly be ok with whatever options wins. I think all of them are great options! I would love if you guys could maybe consider Violet Evergarden and Fruits Basket as options some day. Both of them may be considered slower as they're not shounen, action type. However, I think the emotional complexity of either of those shows well make up for the lack of action. I really hope you guys can consider them someday :) Violet Evergarden is about a young girl who was created to be a weapon for war. Due to the nature of her upbringing, she struggles with understanding both her own and other people's emotions. The show is an emotional journey of Violet learning how to interact with her emotions. It's quite the tearjerker, but it is such a beautiful story. Fruits Basket is a lot more fun but still has just as much heart. It is more slice o f life mixed in with supernatural elements. It is about a young high school girl named Tohru who finds herself living with a mysterious family. Special members of that family turn into zodiac animals when they are hugged by the opposite gender. It has a lot of sweet humor as well as deep emotions. It is an absolute classic and must watch in my opinion. If you were to consider it, it is important to note that I suggest watching the 2019 remake as it goes over the full series. I love your guys content, keep up the great work!

Jjk is one of the best new animes and while it does resemble lots of the og shonen, it takes a unique turn to the point where it's unpredictable especially with how unhinged gege can be. I would love to see you guys review it I like the way you actually engage wih your reactions
