I heard him in Montreal in Aug 23 and he is getting closer to the top, and he has just been signed to co principal horn of the Berlin Philharmonic‼️

I love how there’s not a single person that knows what to do while resting for 11 measures but awkwardly wait until it’s time to come in oh yeah and he’s incredible and I’m getting a little obsessed with him

@@dasteufelhund I agree that he has a baborak flare to his sound. If you listen to his other recordings its easier to hear but I wouldnt say thats just a totally bad take.

Very nice. He played it with a more powerful style than most others which was interesting. I heard at least a few chipped notes in the last movement. Might have been tiring a bit by then. And, of course, the horn is really, really difficult like that compared to other brass instruments.
