I am Japanese and I like Yuna Kim's performance the best (currently). Everybody else skates to "skate", but Yuna skates to "dance". It's so natural and incredible. I think she is going to get a gold medal again.

Just watched her perform this same routine for the 2014 Olympics. Without being a big follower of this sport, I must say that she stood out to me above and beyond all the other girls. So many of the others picked a lively classical piece of music that I wasn't seeing really any connection to. This girl looks like she is really FEELING the music as she is skating to it. I'm surprised she didn't get 1st place.

I love this program! This program has everything we expect from women's figure skating. Emotion, tears and gentle smile, beauty, joy and sadness, passion, softness, arm and shoulder movements, and a beautiful skater herself!

She's like a beautiful butterfly. What I like about her is when I watch her perform, I hardly think about her techniques, jump quality or whatever. I get just sucked into it and forget about everything else. She's truly the most amazing skater I've ever seen.

처음에 뭔 겨자색이야;; 이랬지만 춤추기 시작하니까 진짜 노란 꽃잎처럼 보이던데... 어제 보면서 엄청 놀라고 감동이었어요. 음악을 온몸으로 표현하는것 같아요..진짜 꽃잎이 날라다니면서 춤추는거 같아서ㅋㅋㅋ 내 표현이 오글거리지만 뭐 진짜 저랬쯤...연아언니 부담갖지 말고 화이팅ㅎㅎ 연아언니는 스케이팅 탈때 진짜 예뻐요~ㅋㅋ 나중에 몇년 뒤에 봐도 두고두고 감동받을 무대가 많으심..

Yunaaaaaaaaaaa.... it was so an amazing performance. Her movements, expressions, jumps, spins and everything were perfect. Especially, the double-axcel jump after the spread eagle is one of my favorites among Yuns's skating skills although there was a little mistake.

my favorite skater is back on the ice, makes me smile everytime i see her, she is amazing and a true champion^^

Oh wow... this SP is going to be incredible in Sochi... she is fortunate, her two favorite jumps the lutz and the filp are the ones with the highest marks (apart from a 3A obviously) and she hardly ever has an edge deduction.

Yuna Kim is the best female skater in the world. The solid reasons are her competitive history. She's the Olympic gold medallist (one with the world records not yet being beaten, the other one is still in question of being robbed due to SocheatScandal), world champion, and has medalled in all the events in her entire career with her world records under IJS system. Her consistency is incredible to manage to skate three flawless programs (free and short) including Socheat. She is also the whole package - jumps, spins, skating skills, artistry and consistency. She has it all. Yuna Kim is from South Korea, Republic of Korea.

IMO, the big point to notice also is "The Scores Speak for Themselves". To be fair, given Yuna just recovered from her injury and everyone can tell that this is not even 75% of what she's capable of, still the combined score that she got was about others' personal bests. Her jumps are sharper. In detail, the step sequences are more delicate compared to her previous programs. 2 months are left to get her act together. So, we should wait and see.

이제 김연아의 경기는 단순히 얼마나 높은 점수를 받는지 보는것이 아닌 경지에 이른 것 같은듯. 너무 아름답네요.
