This is simply one of the most beautiful musical works ever created by a human being. If there are only 100 musical compositions to be selected to remember mankind by, in a distant future where man is extinct and other species can only study us by what we leave behind, this would surely be one of the first compositions to select for preservation.

Perhaps if humanity would seriously listen closely to this type of music, and consider the ultimate source of the music, hearts would be calmed, anger would abate, and peace would come.
@jesusislordsavior63434 жыл бұрын
Reader 66 What is the ultimate source of the music? You have not committed to a direct answer. (James 1:17) 'Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.' Yet we must admit that human art itself is not a 'perfect gift', insofar as sinful humans have ,made it. However the resources which our Creator has given us to enjoy music are a perfect gift. And even the greatest human 'creations' are nothing more than manipulations of raw materials supplied by God. Our 'creativity' is always derivative, never original. Does that being to approach what you are saying? David, as king-in-waiting, used to play the harp in order to calm the nerves of his paranoid father-in-law, King Saul. But eventually this therapy had its limits. Only inward spiritual transformation, which the Bible calls 'new birth', can turn individuals of our warrior race into peacemakers. For God Himself has initiated the 'peace process': (John 3:16) 'For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.'

This master pianist allows the focus to be upon the beautiful music instead of himself and gives it freely allowing the genius of Beethoven to be fully revealed and appreciated. Together they fill our senses with such peace and beauty. A gift from God.

god had nothing to do with it. He's linking the notes together with legato and pushing and pulling time with rubato. It's a well performed interpretation.
@paulb.6751 Жыл бұрын
I am a poor piano player without the gift given to Beethoven or Chopin, but I can appreciate their work and benefit from the joy and comfort it provides and celebrate it regardless of its simplicity - like a great painting of few strokes. You explore the technical aspects of music and that's fine, but few care and judge with their ears and emotional response to the piece.
@station2station544 Жыл бұрын
