gamboa never boring he always goes for it i love that about him

This was a good learning experience for Gamboa. Rough fight with lots of fouls and he ended up having to work hard to get the win. He got a little lazy in the 8th and got clipped pretty good by that overhand right but he was never in serious trouble. If Lopez hits him with a clean shot though, it might be lights out. It was good to see the fighters treat each other w/respect after the decision was announced.

Yes, exactly krazykingcoqui..Unfortunately for Cuban boxers it's been tough to acquire a faithful fanbase given the situation with them being limited to the Amatuers for the last 50 yrs unless they want to swim with sharks or defect to become Pro. PR fighters such as Juanmacito have it good baby, Juanma can get away with whatever he likes in his career and even though he lacks the skill Gamboa has it's ok because he will have his inherited fanbase from the the good ol days of actual PR greats.

en esta pelea no pudimos apreciar toda la tecnica en esta pelea hasta se vio mal gamboa no demostro toda su calidad se puso a fanfarronear un poco y pues la pelea no fue tan buena como otras en la que lo hemos visto pues gamboa ha mejorado mucho y nos esta demostrando que si va a llegar a ser muy grande en el box uno de los mejores pero ojala nunca se suba a una nube como otros peleadores y siempre siga dandopeleas muy buenas como ahora en la probable gambos vs juanma lopez o tal vez donaire

I'm Puertorican but objective, on talent alone Gamboa should beat Lopez as well as in speed. I don't think Gamboa will fight Lopez with his hands down. I think he does that with what he thinks is inferior opponents. The only thing that can hurt him is if he gets hit and goes in trying to answer with his hands down. Lopez is a lefty and right hooks are hard to see for orthodox fighters and Juanma's is very fast. Other than that Gamboa should win the fight...
