I like Yuka-chan's attitude towards language. Even if it's not perfect (yet), she has confidence when using it and she gets her ideas across, which is the whole point of communication. If who you're talking to understands, it's a success. It reminds me of Natsuki's (from Abroad in Japan) English. I imagine this is approximately what I'd sound like too speaking Japanese in Japan. 😆

I have to applaud Yuka for her progress in learning English which is not an easy task. We also look forward to her posts. She is a bundle of joy to watch. Well done Yuka!

I came from watching your english curry cooking challenge, i must say your english has leveled up immensely, good job! 👍🏻

Your English is very good. My family never taught me much Spanish when I was little so I learn on my own and practice with family. Sometimes though I will be talking about stuff I don’t know a word for so my family will say “just say it in English” 😂😂😂 some examples include trying to say “cookie”: I will say “small, bread, with sugar and chocolate” or when I forgot how to say fish and seafood I said “meat of the water” 😂😂😂 don’t ever feel bad or embarrassed with your English it’s a learning process and is impressive. Sometimes it’s also good to be able to laugh about yourself a little too.

Wow Yuka, your English has improved so much since the cooking episode. No, I don’t do Zumba classes anymore either. I was doing it for rehabilitation. The doctors recommended it on my hospital discharge papers. I had some fun and made some friends but now I am back to my normal exercise routine that is more moderate. I would think you are in good shape because of the job pulling the rickshaw. You say you are tired after three steps but I don’t believe that. There is a powder for fries called seasoning salt or seasoned salt. Someone said to try allspice but I haven’t tried it on fries.

I am Asian too. I am glad you're enjoying the Philippines. You should also try the seafood also while you're here.

When Yuka was in the mall and commented about an early Christmas, she said it was October. So, she was there a month ago. If anyone is searching for Yuka, I think they can stop.
