It always amazes me how global the English language has become especially since it came from a small island nation. I mean look at this video, two women from two different non-English speaking nations making a KZfaq video almost entirely in English. I just think it's fascinating.

Sour Cream and Onion potato chips are indeed delicious! I love Japanese food and I had never given any thought to the fact that sour cream is no a common ingredient in Japanese cooking. Her English has gotten so much better in a relatively short time. Japanese and English are so different from one another. And there's a bit that won't translate into the other. I lived in Japan 6 years in my Navy days. I learned quite a bit. But there was still much to learn. I was able to hold a very basic conversation. There's so many suttle ways to say something. The slightest mispronouncing can really change the meaning of what you're trying to say. Since coming back state side. I'm afraid I have forgotten most. No one to practice with here. Love seeing her video's. Can't help but be in a good mood watching this young lady.
