Still remember his knock in Ahmadabad qtr final against Australia. after losing Dhoni Australia was on top . Raina changed the momentum which allowed Yuvi to play freely. Yuvi got out on first ball yorker against pakistan and Raina steadied the ship and anchored the innings with tailenders which allowed India to post a better score. If Raina had failed against pakistan in semi final pakistan would have won the match.

Yuvi was always among first 5 batters, It was problem in his mind only Thinking Mahi will replace him with Suresh Raina *Suresh Raina got the opportunity in place of yusef Pathan against Australia in quater final & who can forget Raina hitting 6 of Bret Lee in pressure situation & change the complex of the match. Suresh Raina most underrated players of Indian cricket.

Looking at the interview or rather listening to it, despite what the Management did to Yuvi and especially electors, Yuvi had no bitter feelings towards his old team mates in general. Yes, he might get emotional and spew one or two words here and there, but by and large in general he always had positive things to say about all his team mates and yes Dhoni too 😌😌😌 As he said at the end: Before Dhoni always wanted to finish in style, but later became sensible and how throughout World Cup he saw Dhoni working hard and knew sooner or later a big one is coming. Touchwood, Yuvraj had absolute faith in Dhoni and he had a feeling that Dhoni should finish it in style, which he did. Only sad thing is, just because of one bad innings in the final of 2014 WC, Yuvraj was forever forgotten and he got chances like "Khairaat", not sure about the English word though. During 2015 he scored 3/4 centuries in domestic matches and he was a player who had faced at the age of 20, the mighty Aussies and in 2007 and 2011 had played innings of his life, not one "tukkaa innings" but half a dozen such innings. So, I truly believe he should have been included in 2015 WC, def not 2019, but best chance was for 2015 WC. He would have taken us till final at the very least, guaranteed 😳😳😉😉😎😎

Yuvraj never mentioned that there was a rivalry between Raina and him, he only replied the question. Even he didn't mentioned anything against Dhoni, he talked positive. He had respect about Sachin also,.though few.comments questioned......he frankly spoke about John Wright and Dada relations , and the efforts to keep Dada positive, Yuvi, Dada, MS, Sachin, Viru, Raina, Dravid and more are all great players and contribute a lot in that era to shape Indian cricket , and issues come even a our families where there no one is right or wrong , situations make it to think like, decide like, act like. Destiny make everyone's life. We the cricket lovers do if and buts, but we should not forget that everyone is right at his place. Yuvi , the legend undoubtly had a key role and we have lot of respect for him, salute to Yuvi as well other team members, everyone who shape Indian cricket.

Suresh Raina was the most underrated hero of the 2011 World Cup. Consistently brilliant as a fielder, effective as a bowler and top class with the bat in high pressure Quarter final and Semi final. Raina was so talented that he outclassed so many great batsman when he was given opportunity to bat up the order in IPL and International Cricket.

Well yeah but I bet you know that YUVRAJ was playing the matches even after getting diagnosed with cancer. And he was totally unfit to play cricket at that time. In that stage he pulled off man of the tournament winning matches single handedly not just by bat but ball also. So no the one who is underrated is YUVRAJ not RAINW

Well no doubt Yuvi played really well throughout the world cup but Suresh Raina too didnt get many chances and when he did he got at no 7 while he is a top order batsmen and even then he delivered 2 crucial knocks in quarter finals and semi finals

I still remember in 2001/ 02 india was struggling with England and Zimbabwe in bilateral series india was laging 1-2 behind yuvi was not in that series for first 3 matchs and BCCI Called yuvi for last matches and yuvi came back and played match winning innings! Result india won 3-2 series
